    This sprayer is great... Only downfall was when the battery got low, it would start to spit out paint and not shoot continuously... This was when the 2ah battery was out and it would drain the battery pretty fast..
    Then the 4ah battery and it runs longer with less spray spitting... Now i got my Dewalt to Ryobi adaptor so i use my 6ah dewalt battery

      Ryobi also has a 6ah and a 9ah HP battery... They also had a 3ah P191 for a bit that had 21700 cells inside. If you can get your hands on one of those you'd be happy too.

    I wish Ryobi made an adjustable tip and adjustable pressure cordless texture sprayer. Something small for doing spot repairs and for stairways,hallways,and small closets where hoses and cords can cause problems and force me to spray at such an angle it is sometimes visible even after painting. If it could handle aggregate(popcorn cieling or sand wall) that would be even better but even just orange peel would be better than nothing.

    Keep the sprayer at right angle to the surface at all times - and always at the same distance, your technique is what makes a good finish. Basically keep your wrist and forearm locked at 90 deg to the surface and let your body, legs and shoulder do the moving.

    Really like the paint scheme for your camper. How were the end results? Been thinking of getting about getting a wagner spray painter to do my garage doors but this is an interesting gadget. Looks like it pulses the spray a lot. Did that create any problems?

    yeah you should clean the rig as soon as you're done spraying and keep it clean make sure it's perfectly clean each time before you put it away and then there will be no issues secondly the batteries I use the big battery in it last for maybe an hour

      There's a million different kind of products
      but on the can itself
      will say What is the cleanup procedure
      so if it tells you to use paint thinner to clean up
      that's what you use to thin
      if it tells you to use water to clean up
      that's what you use to thin
      whatever the procedure is for cleanup
      is the same product you use to thin
      but don't use too much
      just a little bit of thinner
      is all you need
      keep testing it till you get exactly what you want

    Spend the money and get Graco’s newest cordless model. Powered by dewalt 20 volt batteries. It kicks ass and doesn’t lose its prime like most of these handheld cordless models. And it’s very lightweight compared to ryobi and Wagner models.

    The sprayer comes with two atomizers... if you can't find the second one, go to Home Depot, they are only a couple of dollars each, and they are in stock ;-)

    Jesus is Lord of all:) Thanks for the tool review! I have a question. If you turn the sprayer sideways does it stop working? It looks like it would stop because the tip is adjustable. Let me know please. God Bless you bro! New sub here!

    • @Jonehughes
      @Jonehughes  9 років тому

      Yeah , it isn't pressurized that way, it works with a suction tube, Of course if you needed that for some reason, you could "McGyver" it to work that way (by altering the suction tube).. God Bless You Brother !!

    We had it....and I didn't care, if it matters, a oil based paint should be used with a professional spray rig, but this tool is fine for "getting the job done", if you are not looking for "showroom quality, but simply applying a ,freshening coat of paint.

    Why a cordless tool to do this? Those batteries are not for free, not money wise and not for the environment, I only use cordless tools when it's the only option (except for my impact screwdriver, I'm not an extremist;-) )
    I guess tools are realy cheap in the US.

      I bought the tool and wanted to do a video for others, so ...win win....
      I also bought the corded version too, it is better, only because the power is consistent......when I use the cordless, I use the biggest , baddest battery, and have no issues, both are great....

      +265Spike гг, работаю маляром временами И имел возможность сравнивать сие гуано С валиком: после покраски валик выкинул или помыл, это же надо долго И нужно мыть всякие мелкие детали , а потом смазывать некоторые+ не такой уж он И лёгкий в работе. есть опыт. выкинул в своё время аналогичный аппарат)))

    • @265Spike
      @265Spike 8 років тому

      ipsikho он для латексных красок на водной основе, все мытье там заключается в том чтобы налить воды в бочок и нажать на кнопку. есть аппараты проф. класса, например грако, А некоторые поверхности ты хоть валиком хоть кистью заебешься красить, например декоративный кирпич.

      +265Spike Согласен, я пользую wagner и то что валиком занимает 5-6 часов покрасить, с пистолетом занимает 30-40 минут.

      But if you meant to say how is the painter holding up
      The gun is still in good working condition
      I don't know that they make that battery operated one anymore
      But the exact same one comes with a extension cord
      You do have to plug it in
      But it works exactly the same

    • @Jonehughes
      @Jonehughes  3 роки тому

      Hi John
      They stopped making it apparently
      I know that mine is Frozen a couple times
      And you can simply dissect it clean it up and put it back together again
      Unless you've actually lost the pieces
      But if you still own them pull the Piston out separate it from the spring clean everything real well put it all back together again you'll be good to go
      Once it gets stuck it doesn't want to move
      The spring and the Piston are supposed to be two different parts you need to separate them if they're stuck together and then put it back together and let me know if it worked
      If not you'll have to go to eBay and find this unit and buy it and then use their parts

      Hi John
      Also I think you should buy the new Ryobi paint sprayer it's 18 volt and I think you can use the same parts also so by the new one it's only 60 bucks here in Grants pass Oregon but it looks like it connects perfectly to your old stuff but if the new one works great you can just use the new one but if it doesn't work that good you can just take the parts off of it and use your old one anyway I'm going to buy a new one it'll be here in a week and I'm going to make a new video on it if you want to wait but if I were you I would just order the new one it's 18 volt Ryobi and it should work perfectly fine
