this version you're playing seems different than the version i'm used to hearing, there's usually a bass lick part way through verse 2 and there's a tom build into the second chorus, (i paused it at 2:32 so this isn't an exhaustive list of the differences), but is this from a different album? also, I appreciate the 2 stacked covers of EG1 and EG2, extremely helpful! Thanks!
Hey man! I'm looking at getting into electric for church, and this guitar is one on my list. So, 2 questions: 1.) do you like this guitar for worship? (I.e. Is it versatile enough for most styles) and 2.) what amp are you running through because I'm having to start from scratch
John Pate Hey John! I really like this guitar for anything worship. I use it every week, and it is definitely versatile enough for any worship music. If you have any more questions about it I'd be happy to help. The amp that I use is a Vox VT40X, although I didn't use it to make this video (I used JamUp, which is an app for mobile). The VTX is great in the way that it has on board effects, but the amp as a whole does sound slightly digital, and it isn't possible to switch sounds without pressing buttons on the amp or a separate foot switch. I don't fully recommend it because of those reasons, although it will definitely work. I have been using it for about 6 months. Hope this helps. If you have any more questions id be glad to help!
