And a shout out for the S22 users......they should get the AI features too...at this point they should reward loyal customers. C'mon Sammy these phones are pricey!!!!!!

Looks very interesting. I hope Samsung wasn't kidding when they recently said that were considering passing these great AI features to the S22 series. I have an S22 Ultra and would enjoy using them!

Oh come on Samsung! Why would you give the carrier models the update first? The unlocked models are more expensive and get updates directly from the manufacturer, hence they should receive the update first!
What's the difference between the carrier model and the unlocked model?

Lmaoo the price does not change just because it’s “unlocked” 😂😂 more often than not, when you purchase unlocked phones, they give you crazy discounts . Knock it off.

I bought an S 24 Ultra because of the State of the Art AI now it seems I could have kept my old phone and still got all the New AI features.
I think there are a lot of features on the S24 that older models still won't get, plus look at the flip side - next year your S24 Ultra will get features from the S25 after it comes out.

Great content. All that AI is nice, but I mainly want the home up vertical app drawer. Do you think the battery life will be better with the 6.1 update for the s23 ultra 🤔.
I updated my Z Flip 5 last night and it looks like all of these features are there. I have only played with the circle to search and the AI photo editing features and they are fantastic. I am impressed with how easy Samsung made them to use as well.

Hi, multiple time zone has gone in Always On Display, can I set it back?
I think the unlocked and carrier models thing is just a US thing. Because there are completely different providers than here in Europe, Germany for example.

Saki hi mate. Just installed the one UI 6.1 for s23 ultra. They have have removed the swipe gestures with the three options. Even with latest version of navstar APK it will not activate. Any way to get it back? Should not have been removed.
The circling on anything has been available on Google lens for years any pictures in your library using it it searches the Web for it

Why is your bottom bar green and why does your open apps look different than mine? S24 ultra as well.
Changed the color of it in good lock, then you download nav star. I personally hate the bar an how the gestures got changed

April 2024 security patch update already available in india. Ultra model. 992mb. Unlocked model. Battery drains faster than before. Update focused on camera and low light improvements it seems.

Hey, I have an unlocked S24 ultra... my update came this morning March 27, 2024. It has the April 1 security update included as well. The update size was over 800MB too.
Yea me too, i think its a different update though. Those phones, etc are just getting the features of the S24 U. The update you're talking about is probably just specific for our phone.

What are the Carrier Models & Unlocked Models. Plz explain in brief.
Carrier models are Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile etc.... will be unlocked after using for a specific time on the network. Unlocked models are unlocked from the start and can be used on any network at any time.

We don't have locked models anymore ....lemme explain....I'm in Europe and in my country , small though it may be, you can do what the heck you want even if you buy one by instalments....so long as you pay the carrier the cost of the phone you can switch. BTW if you have an S23 Ultra it would be better if if we could see the AI features on that phone....As usual thank you for keeping us informed. I hope there won't be any hiccups cos my S23 Ultra is an amazing phone.
I thought the Galaxy S22 Ultra was still gonna get some updates as well case this Thursday I'll be having one delivered to me as it is a manufactured refurbished, 128GB, phantom Black color, it's fully unlocked 🔓 to work with any carrier

There is no reason to replace my S21. In principle, I can live without this update and continue to use it for a long time. But I'm afraid Samsung has decided differently and OneUI 6.0 was the last update.

Not everyone will get the same level of updates for example always on display wallpapers won't be available to s23 line as my s23 has the new update and was looking forward to having always on wallpaper but apparently it won't be coming to older phones. Quite disappointed as was looking for to it. As not really interested in any AI features

Looks like S24 is going to turn out to be not so good. Everyone is complaining once upgrading to the S24 that alot of their apps won't work. 32 bit apps wont work. Basically scraped my expensive security system. Thanks Saki for not letting us know that detail

I could care less about the other AI features, I'm very disappointed with not getting the wallpaper/weather for my S23 Ultra 😪
I'm getting more pissed off with Samsung the longer I've been with them. I've had nothing but Samsung phones since they released the very first Note model. My last 5 phones were bought directly from Samsung, so no carrier bloatware included, yet I ALWAYS get the latest updates long after everyone else it seems. Is it just the UK that's like this?
