Never seen this one before. Loved it. Love ANY THING with Dale Roberson.
Nothing better than these western series feon the 50's, 60's and early 70's.
Thank you for another great episode, just one of many great shows from yesteryear 😊
I always enjoyed Dale Robertson. This reminds me of Death Valley Days!
great old shows
Yep fabulous movie yehaaaa❤
I'm surprised the professor wasn't able to use some coconuts and a palm tree to build a train engine to Laredo.
I'm here because Mr. Frank Gruber was the "story supervisor" on this series. That likely means that he cowrote the script with Mr. Butler. Mr. Gruber was a formidable and prolific author in the height of the days of pulp fiction and, later, paperbacks (Bantam, Ballatine, etc.)
Gruber wrote alongside Raymond Chandler ("Double Indemnity"), Dashiell Hammet ("Thin Man") and Erle Stanley Gardner. Of course there were dozens of other excellent authors in all genres: crime, sci-fi, romance, westerns, and spy . . . uh, anyone remember James Bond?

The Professor!
7:24 I paused the video when I recognized Roy Hinkley aka The Professor.
My brother and I preferred the Lone Ranger, the Range Rider and the Cisco Kid. However, this was our dad's favourite.
🤣🤣🤣
Dale Robertson big star
I love these even if theyre older than me.......just!dale robertson great in iron horse too
it is a very well wrote show
Great script here with great performances by all cast. Diane Brewster was a great character actor. 500,000 USD .in greenbacks as portrayed here would have been rare. Specie aka hard currency was still preferred by almost everyone.

Love The Lone Ranger, Roy Rogers, Tom Selleck, & this hunk of a man, Dale Robertson. Hope the will be in heaven when I get there there
$500,000 back in 1876 would equal $14,347,009.35 today. That was a lot of currency for Jim to be carrying in bandit country.
classic
Dang... it's the professor.
The Professor is here, but where is Mary Ann ???
8:24 Another 3 hour tour.
🎉
Wow...Gilligan's Island...as a young man
Yeah...the only other thing I’ve ever seen him in is really bad outer space/science fiction movies. So bad they’re funny.
@@rockhead11 *Russell Johnson also appeared in, "This Island Earth", one of the best 1950's sci-fi movies, filmed in color (unusual for the time) and considered a classic today.*
😂 help me out here he carries that shillelagh
🇨🇱Pena🤝. 👍
Diane Brewster, Russel Johnson and Trevor Bardette.
@Robert Hayden
Yes sir. (When he was a Railroad Man)
@Robert Hayden Thats weird, just saw him in an old horror flick called Crab monster. I went to see more of Pamela duncan who was in an episode of Wells fargo and there was the professor. LOL
james l brooks was involved with this?
I don't like how it's it's streched 35%. It's almost unwatchable.
When I was a kid we would have loved to see such a clear picture on our TV. The signal we picked up from the BBC in England was woeful poor. Now I can watch these episodes without needing to mess with the picture hold every five minutes.
Many TVs have controls to zoom, fill, justify, 4:3 and maybe more. You may find something you like if you are using Google Chromecast or other device to sent it to your TV. I think these are going the wrong way but "fill" may help.
Jim Hardy’s stunt double looks nothing like him and the outfit is not the same half the time and it’s so obvious .😆
=5+.
