This was an excellent and enjoyable movie. Thank you to make it available to the UA-camrs♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😊
Hi Vickie 🍕Thanks for watching PizzaFLIX. May the Sauce be with you 🍕
There's nothing like a Western, especially the old ones..
@tuberesu that matters
A good episode of "The Gunfighters" with David McLean. This was first telecast when the western television craze was just about over, having reached a peak from 1957 until 1960 or 1961.
But some of those series lasted until the early to mid-70's.
Who ever thought the one hand was a good idea was nuts.
Great old show.
Really nice western 😎
Love the westerns :)
Thanks for posting, love the old westerns.
Hillbilly62 🙁🙁
They are all old.
Not bad, not bad at all. Never even heard of this.
That blonde rancher's wife wanted to give Tate a bonus.
@Zach He heee ha all the women go for him...lol
"David McLean was a underrated actor
he appeared in several films and many tv
shows as a guest performer this short
lived series of "Tate" was his only primetime
series he also had a recurring role on the NBC
daytime soap "Days of Our Lives" for a couple of years."-🖥🌐🌍🌎🌏🌍🌐..
Gunfighters this was a good episode thank you for sharing the video 👍🇺🇸
Another Great Episode !! Thank You PizzaFlix For Sharing 😄
sure like these episodes
back when western was good.!
i never even heard of this western.
It only lasted about 13 wks.
That trouble maker was Kirby from Combat!
He was ,the Marlboro man
Kirby, with hair. lol.
Kirby from Combat threatening to get a gunfighter. He should have brought his B-A-R!
Yeah! That's who that was. I knew he looked familiar, but couldn't place him.
His BAR would have taken care of the bad guys. They wouldn't need Tate.
Nebraska sure has nice mountains - almost like California. Each farmer worked a year for two cows - not a great deal.
Tate was one of the strangest westerns.
@13:30
Wow, that´s a beautiful shot !
They shouldn't have made him a cripple in this series..i think it would have made for better stories..this dude has gotten outta more situations better then a man with two good arms... an how did he tie down his gun with one arm🤔...lasted only 13 episodes ...they had future movie stars in some of them..
Thanks a lot I loved this show . I believe it took perry como s place for summer
nope never heard or saw this show at all. but there's bound to some I never saw. there's good an some are better. thanks for the show.
Original title is "A man called Tate" was a series
Never seen this series B4 . Looks OK a few minutes in .
thank you
there are 2 Western 's they will not let you watch & they are Laramie & Cheyenne, you can't get these,
Nebraska Territory 1871. Two more years before the 1873 Colt Peacemaker would b invented! but I guess the prop[ man has to work with what he can get.
Addendum. At 20:29 it does look like Tate's revolver is an 1858 Remington but the one he took from "Lathrop" at 21:46 is a Colt Peacemker (could be 2nd/3rd generation since the series was in 1960
And Jack Hogan who got shot at the door went on to carry a BAR in Combat.
Kinda my hobby "noting details."
1875 Remington revolver
It is 1871 and Tate looks like he is using an 1875 Remington revolver. Usually, filmmakers would use period incorrect 1873 Colts. Looks like there's 1892 Winchester rifles too! Didn't they realize the number of the gun was the first year of production?
As long as they don't use pistols and automatic weapons, who cares?
The original Have Gun Will Travel with Richard Boone.
The farmer who fought with Tate was Kirby on Combat! He was great on that show . One with the wife who wanted tate
No dought its tough doing with one hand. Every body reminds him of it...
With that gun he's a potent-tate. I see Kirby from COMBAT in there....
love westerns in color
Thanks Charles for uploading this episode.
love Western shows, but it's funny how short every body pants are shorter than their ankles or their pants are to big and the pants are rolled up, yes it's funny but good show, thanks
It's new to me but I was born in 1957, I don't know if it came to the UK.
....Nobody Thought It Was "Odd" To Hire A One Armed Gun Fighter ?
I have a friend that's only got one arm. at times it's quit humbling the things he manages to do.
Inaccurate weapons for 1871
It's just a TV Show 4 Ur enjoyment . What it Ain't is a Documentary
@@Robert-mn8gc True, but using highly period incorrect weapons is still a bit of an issue. Some weapons are over 20 years too new.

There's so much garbage 🗑 on TV these days... just enjoy them 4 what they r . Entertainment
I enjoyed the show. But I wonder that the subtitles are about. It is very distracting. The printouts are quite different from the audio...therefore confusing. Please get rid of the subtitles. Thanks in advance.
Subtitles are fan generated and not by us. You can always turn them on or off using the "CC" icon on your UA-cam player.

+Jose Belindo He trained on a BAR, a Winchester just didn't have enough firepower

Don't you just love when they put the date up then use guns that had not been invented yet
As long as they don't use pistols and automatic weapons, who cares?
Time machine.
I do not remember this one. 1960's?
June 8 - September 14, 1960 13 episodes.
Tate (David McLean) was the Marlboro Man and died of lung cancer in 1995, brought on by many years of heavy smoking.
Tate was sponsored by Kraft Foods. It was a summer replacement show and filled in for the second half-hour of Perry Como's Kraft Music Hall as Kraft Summer Theater. It did not develop popularity after it's short run and was discontinued.
I don't guess I ever saw it. Seemed pretty boring anyway.
Nebraska became a state 1869
Particularly salty Tate in this episode. 😀
Make that 'good show' and not 'good good' in my comment below.
They never show him reloading his six gun! Must have been difficult.
I read a documentary on Wyatt Erp. He would reload each of his bullets with fresh power and lead every morning. I understand that gunpowder in those days collected a lot of moisture and misfired if not loaded with fresh powder. He actually rarely had to use his pistol and often went months without actually firing it at all.
When he retired he and his wife were on a ship on their way to their new home in N California and Wyatt took and threw his pistol in the ocean and never touched a gun again.
The actual gunfighter that reloaded his pistols every day was James Butler Hickok commonly known as Wild Bill Hickok
+Bill Ingram
I've heard the same about reloading daily, I suspect it was really for target practice though. Black powder and caps are just fine for at least several years. Not a cause for concern.
@@tedpeterson6999Not sure if that really applied once they went to the black powder cartridge guns.
That's because they don't want u 2 think about it
IF TATE SPELLS FIT 8 THIS GUY IS GOOD BECAUSE EVREY BODY KNOWS THAT THE HANDS OF TIME EXTENDS 7.3= BAD.4= GOOD.IF TATE SPELLS FIT 8.FIT GOOD.☆
The Western genre was very popular.Wonder why they all were cancelled out even though they held all of the highest ratings.Political correctness ? Very strange, indeed.
Every possible gimmick was tried. The public grew tired.
Liberals.
Lacklustre, stilted, formulaic; I can see why it only went 13 episodes.
What do you expect for 1960
He could'nt even tie down his gun, much less fight, stupid series to me!
