Aww! Thanks so much for your sweet and supportive comment! I'm so glad you're enjoying your RC! That is such an amazingly fun car to drive! Thanks very much for tuning in with us!
Yes, thanks a lot for your upload. Its really helpful. Just one question, navigation the one you can see the roads when you slide the cluster. It was there, but now I cant find it. Thanks for your help.
Hi! Use the left or right arrow pad on the steering wheel to move the menu view to the NAV screen. It will usually look like a compass when there is not a destination programmed into Lexus NAV the system. Hopefully that will get the screen view back where you want it. Thanks for being here!
Great info and better than me reading the manual but just noticed that 2021 RC 350 F Sport don't use foot parking brake, maybe update this section of the video.
Hi Roner, Thanks so much. You're absolutely right about the new electronic parking brake on the 2021 RC. I am in the midst of creating a new video for the 2021 RC changes and that is the biggest one. Be on the look out. I hope to have it finished in the next couple of months. :)
Definitely! I do have a chapter index on newer videos, hopefully I will be able to go back to older content and add them. Sorry about that. Thanks so much for tuning in!
Wow! I have a 2015 RC and this was still very helpful! Thank you so much! Took me finding this video to figure out how to change WHERE i want the fans to go.. the button is not clearly illustrated as it shows a defrost icon. 🤷♂️🤦🏽♂️
Thanks so much, Kevin! So glad you're here! I'm happy to see if there are any updates for your 2015 Lexus. What model do you have and do you have navigation? Let me know and I'll check for you :)
Hi @@PSModernKitchens. Thanks for the scoop. I looked up your RC and don't see any multi-media updates available for self install through LexusDrivers.com (securedp.lexus.com/download-app/downloads) There will definitely be a NAV update available through your Lexus dealership Parts/Service Department. You can also ask if there are any updates that the Technicians have access to when you make your appointment. Hope this gets you what you need. Thanks again for tuning in!
Hi Shawn, Sorry for the delay. Looking this up in the NAV Owner's Manual, it recommends to do the following: Stop the vehicle, and turn the steering wheel as far as it will go to the left and right. If this does not resolve the symptom, have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer. Typically this just means the turning dynamic lines need to be recalibrated after a battery change. Hope this helps.
Hi @Boyd. Sorry for the delay. I'll have confirmation for you tomorrow. We had a black and white track edition, but it may have sold yesterday and the store is closed today. I'll keep you posted. Thanks so much for watching!
@@NorthsideLexus No problem, I didn't expect a reply this fast, if at all, since UA-cam isn't the most efficient means of back and forth communications. Love your deep dive videos. I've done as much on-line research as I can at this point and ready to touch, feel and hopefully test drive a RC F to confirm my build choices and get a feel for the factory order process of a RC F Premium Package.
Hi @@Cleofizoid ! So the Track Eddition RCF I mentioned bitterly sold the same day we received it. 😳My Lead Sales Manager is keeping a look out for me, but we don't have another RCF showing in our inventory right now. I'm really sorry. I so appreciate you wanting to come shop with us. If you would email me your contact information I can have one of our team reach out to you when we have one coming in. moconnell@northsidelexus.com. Hope this will help! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Hi @Boyd Lamb! I haven't forgotten about your RCF search. It looks like the next RCF coming in went to our sister store, but was sold to a Northside Guest and it also left as soon as it arrived. I think the best way to get your eyes on one will be to connect with Mike Driskill at mdriskill@northsidelexus.com He has been with our store for over 27 years and he can track down anything that is trackable. If you want to give him a call his direct line is 281-569-3311. Hope you're enjoying this awesome weather!
@@NorthsideLexus Thanks for the contact info/follow up. It would appear that to get the RC F I want, I will have to put in a factory order. Mine will not be a RC F normally found on dealer lots. I don't want Mark Levinson, Navigation, power moon roof, orange brake calipers and no carbon fiber package, but want everything else. I intend to install a very high-end aftermarket sound system w/a custom rear seat delete immediately upon receipt of the vehicle. ML or Navigation uses the MOST bus over copper and will make interfacing an after-market system very difficult and the result would be less than desirable. I do want to test drive a 2021 ASAP though... Hopefully 2022 model year will bring a re-design to include LSS+2.5, a touchscreen, wireless charger and an electronic parking brake. Erm, a twin turbo V8 would be nice too... Northside/Westside Lexus will be top of my list of dealers to negotiate a fair factory order deal. Merry Christmas! 🎅
Thanks for this great video! I will be buying a lexus rc200t f sport 2016 model. Can you please help me what happens in each mode? Eco/normal/sport/sport +. And also can I upgrade my screen from the small screen to this big one? Many thanks
Congrats! That will be an awesome vehicle to have! The screens can't be updated since they are installed at the factory, sorry about that. For info on the Drive Mode Selector check 46:01 in the video and I go through each mode. But here's a summary: Eco: adjusts the throttle response for fuel efficiency Sport S: adjusts the throttle response for a sportier feel, more direct throttle response Sport S+: tightens steering feel and will tighten suspension on cars with Adaptive Variable Suspension Normal: a balanced throttle response Custom: you can set your preference. Hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in.
@@NorthsideLexus yes I have seen that, just wanted a more detailed information that's why. I noticed for example in eco mode the turbo has less boost. Is that correct? What will you recommend for upgrading the screen? Thanks for the fast reply. I sold my gt86 for this car.
@@supralover92 The eco mode really is only about the throttle response. It might impact the turbo, but I have not read that specifically. The goal of Eco mode is to try to prevent a "lead-foot." Lexus does not have any screen upgrade options. Any upgrade retrofit would be aftermarket and I'm not able to recommend anything that isn't a Lexus product since I work directly for two dealerships and we only use certified Lexus accessories. I'm sorry I can't be of more help for you.
On the 2020 RC Apple CarPlay is tethered and requires a data certified cord to be plugged in to a USB port to mirror the data to the screen on the vehicle. Thanks for tuning in!
No worries. You'll make those changes in Setup. Follow these steps: Menu - Setup - Navigation - Favorites - Select and open the entry you want to edit - Then select the section of information to change. You'll also see some additional settings on certain screens that can be accessed by pressing the sub-menu button (the double chevron button by the touch pad).
