For oily skin women who are frustrated with lightweight formulas…. I I discovered, a year ago, that tinted moisturizer will not work with my extremely oily skin due to my oils breaking down the lightweight formula. So, the medium coverage idea may work better. Thanks for the ideas. 🙂
Mixing moisturizer into foundation on the back of my hand was the most useful tip I have ever tried. Now I do this every day. I use La Mer Soft cream, and Dior. Thank you so much!

Yep! Both work so beautifully lol I was trying your tips with you. I love both sides of my face. I am surprised how flawless my skin looks on the side with the SPF. I mixed the new Dior SPF 50 and the Gucci highlighter which I purchased thanks to you. It's a real game changer. Keep up the good work.

I like this technique of using liquid bronzer and adding to spf cream. Also like your lipstick shade and so brightening 😊
Hello. I am now doing the moisturizer/foundation tip. I Love it. This is exactly what I have been wanting. I am 55 years old with a good skincare routine. My skin is the best it's ever been. I LOVE this natural look! I was able to follow right along while doing my makeup as we just came up from swimming (Pacific Ocean) and I was getting ready with the instructions. I used the Sisley All Day All Year, which blended perfectly with the Chanel Sublimage L'essence de Teint (more medium coverage), Chanel Sublimage le correcteur yeux concealer (not my favorite concealer - to be honest), the Chantacaille Anti-Aging Face Tint for Bronzer, Chantacaille Butterfly Bliss for Blush, very small amount of the Cle de Peau refined pressed powder in the T-Zone, and Chantacaille Lip Chic in Hyacinth. Very beautiful and natural. Thank you!! ❤ 😊
I just purchased the Guicci highlighter due to your recommendation, so I will definitely try mixing a few drops in my sunscreen. I've also purchased a few Chanel products based on your recommendations and have been very happy with them all. I think these are great ideas 💡 and I should definitely try them, Angela! In summer, it is better to keep things light for the makeup to last and the skin feels better, too. I think double cleansing, especially with a strong SPF, even without makeup, is what helped my skin throughout the years. Thank you, thank you, Angela for your tips! Loved the gucci highlighter mixed with sunscreen. I got tinted mineral sunscreen can't wait to try it. You always have such beautiful ideas. I love the light eyeshadow you do. Can you do eyeshadow lookn with cobol blue. Like color in guerlain eyeshadow palette
The Gucci highlighter, I have to say is like one of the best I have seen lately. Truly a unique and beautiful product. Let’s hope they come out with more shades ❤. Edit. Adding a tad of oil (I’m dry) works amazing and also moisture with foundation
I've tried mixing face oil with foundation in the past but this is so much better.
Hi Brenda, Yes, I think it's better especially for the spring and summer months. The oil trick works best in the winder months and for thicker foundations. xoxo
I use facial oil with my foundation too, I have a very dry skin so it works for me. I will try the moisturiser way too

Hello Angela! I have been using the moisturizer/foundation trick since I was a teenager! It is a great method.
As for the spf trick, it's tempting with my spfs that are not as nice to use but I think that it would decrease the efficacy of the sun protection.

I will absolutely try these tricks tomorrow morning! I have nowhere to go, nowhere I need to be, so I am thankfully not going to be rushed - which is good, in case the moisturizer and foundation I will try to mix don't work well together! I'll have plenty of time to start over again if that is the case XD
Because I have one cheaper foundation, in a jar, from BeautyAct (like Sephora-brand, but for the Scandinavian store Kicks). It has a really funny jelly-like texture, and I am.... not yet sure how I feel about it. It definitely feels strange, and most of the time, I just end up using my Dior Backstage (if I want lots of coverage), my Sensai cream foundation (for a very light and flattering glowing complexion) or my NARS tinted moisturizer (which I then use INSTEAD of my normal moisturizer, when I have no time, but want to look a little bit less tired), but.... Since I HAVE this strange jelly one... I might as well try this trick, and see if it makes me like it better!!!
I'll have to try the sunscreen tip as well, because I do not currently have any sunscreen that I LOVE, and I think maaaaybe they're not right for my skin, but I will try this and see if I can make them work!
The Dream skin care and protect is a mask.
Dior recommends this should be ringed off.

Hi Renee :) My favorites are Estee Lauder Perfectionist pro SPF 50; Murad correct and protect SPF 45, La Mer SPF 50 (it's the most shiny - and has tiny illuminating particles so not everyone loves that), and from the affordable ones Eucerin oil Control SPF 50. If you are in the US - then I also like Elta MD clear SPF 45. But this one is almost impossible to buy in Europe. xoxo

Hi, I have been mixing little bit of foundation in my spf mainly on holidays in Rome, in hot weather. It is very hard to make multiple layers look good, if you very hot. Recently I have been trying korean spfs, but not in very hot weather yet☀️.
Hi lovely, make sure to reapply SPF every few hours when in Rome. Rome is magical! This is one of my favorite cities but the sun there is so strong. I often burn if I forget to reapply. xoxo

Hi Andreia :) I love Chanel's liquid highlighters. They are very similar to Gucci. Chanel dries a bit quicker on my skin and is a little bit more shimmer on my face. But overall both Chanel and Gucci are great! You can't go wrong. xoxo

Hi Angela when do we apply sunscreen? After the moisturizer with the foundation?
Hi Ana :) You should apply sunscreen after you finish your skincare routine and before you start to apply your makeup. So sunscreen is applied after the moisturizer.
I would not mix sunscreen with foundation because you have to apply even layer of sunscreen on your face. That's why I only add a few drops of highlighter just to enhance the texture of the sunscreen. xoxo

I will try this with the Charlotte tilbury flawless filter, does it have to be a white based SPF?
Hi Maya :) You can experiment with products that you have and see if you like the effect. There are no rules here :) Just make sure to use just two to three drops of highlighter so that you don't dilute the SPF too much. xoxo

Hi Gill :) Is your skin sensitive? Because if it is sensitive or if you experience redness or itchiness then Dior will be too fragranced and might cause irritation. Since you can go to Harrods check out the Lancome Tripple serum. This one is very good too. Also what issues do you experience? Dryness, redness, fine lines, breakouts etc. I can think of something if I know more about how your skin feels. xoxo

Hi Angela, at moment small under the skin breakouts they are not spots at all but like I said red under skin marks. I couldn't smell any fragrance in Dior skincare but you will know better than I do honestly I just want something that feels beautiful on my skin hydrating and help with my misbehaving skin at moment ✨️ Thank you 😊 xoxo
@@gillianhammond5618 Hi Gill :) Sorry for the delay, So for the those under skin breakouts (I know what you are talking about because sometimes I have those too) It usually happens when the skin is irritated and lacks balance. I would suggest to get one product with glycolic or lactic acid because it can get rid of those little imperfections and one moisturizing product. This combination always works best for me to calm my skin and to smooth it. For the glycolic/lactic acid: my favorites are Murad Hydro dynamic quenching essence. It's very moisturizing and gives a nice glow on the face. Use it as a first skincare step and only in the evenings. Another one that I like is REN CLEAN SKINCARE READY STEADY GLOW DAILY AHA TONIC - they have a small size of this one so you can just try it before buying the full size. Another one that I like is Sunday Riley Good Genes. But this one is stronger so use it only two times per week in the evening. You don't need all three. I'm just giving you options that I like. Murad is my favorite. Affordable option will be The ordinary Lactic Acid + HA. They have with 5% and 10 %. Both work well. The 10% one works faster; the 5% takes a bit longer to see results but it's more gentle. For a serum I really like the Lancome Tripple serum because it has niacinamide, non irritating Vit C and Hyaluronic acid. It's very moisturizing and gives beautiful glow. If you want to try Dior's skincare - I think it's very good - then I would choose the essence (because it contains niacinamide and it is very moisturizing and the the serum. If you choose Dior start with the essence and then follow with the serum because the serum contains alcohol and if used alone it might be somewhat irritating if your skin is currently sensitive. OR a more affordable option will be the new Bioderma Sensibio Defensive Serum because it is moisturizing and calming. It has squalene which works great to soothe and moisturize the skin. It also has Vit E which works great to calm and strengthen the skin and it has a peptide. It's a nice one. xoxo

En règle générale : Vous devez appliquer 2 mg par cm² de peau, pour obtenir la valeur d'indice de protection indiquée sur l'étiquette. C'est difficile à mesurer, mais vous devez couvrir votre visage avec une quantité généreuse. Deux perles ne suffisent pas pour obtenir la protection nécessaire.
À propos de la deuxième question: deux à trois gouttes d'enlumineur n'affecteront pas la protection. Pourtant, n'appliquez pas trop d’ enlumineur et ne mélangez pas le SPF avec le fond de teint.
