Who ever Analogue has to design their products really has talent. New consoles don't look anywhere near as nice as this IMO. Really cool it has the cartridge slot, and the 4 ports, the scanlines and 10X is a really nice touch. The ultimate way to play N64 on a modern display. Hmm 🤔 Good question. I don’t know if you’ll be able to that or not. Although, since this supports original controllers, if you have saved on one of the memory cartridges that went into the back of the controller I bet you can load your saves from it.

Interesting question. I honestly don’t know. Since the Everdrive isn’t an “original” N64 cartridge, I wouldn’t hold me breath. But I guess it’s possible. I’m sure someone will try it!

I have plenty of controllers I could use. I think it's just odd to buy a console of any kind that doesn't include at least one controller. It feels like they left something out. Haha. But I see your point. Thanks for watching!
Why it's a huge deal? They never included a controller. It even has bt and WLAN to connect a controller. Ordered mine today and I hope it will be shipped soon. ☮️
I am not pre-ordering the controller from Amazon. There should be several currently available N64 type controllers that will work with it. They should have given the controller 2.4 Ghz capabilities and include an N64 receiver dongle.
Oh dude I just have to point out this guy's charisma. Seriously now... the jazz music and the smooth voice.... Oh dude it's like listening to old school radio from the 1980's and 1990's from easy listening radio stations. I grew up during that time period and yes I was the odd duck out in school because while everyone else was listening to metal or rock or pop or rap I hung out with men in their 50's in grade school and high school. I was never liked by my peers but the much older crowd actually liked being around me because I was into "swing", "jazz", "Big Band", and classical music. I just wasn't into the grade school, high school "Trendy" extravaganza of the time period. I actually tried to FORCE myself to but I realized rather quickly that just.... uh.... wasn't me.... at all. Even as a small child I was absolutely in love with Disney's Fantasia from the 1940's due to the classical music it used with it's art. In any event this guy has that charisma. Nice channel bud.
has anyone made a peripheral that makes N64 games 3D glasses compat yet? Yea, might introduce latency, but that's fine. 3D on DK64 is great, using project64 1.4 (forget which plugin, it's an older one), but also using iz3D driver for Win7. not sure if such a peripheral could output the same kind of 3D and then allow it to be used for a CRT 3D device that uses LCD glasses. it sounds like a lot to go through (and expensive), but as an enthusiast, i'd buy it.
I wonder what this will do to the N64 market. For example, it’s going to create a bigger incentive for me to buy a lot more Nintendo 64 games, and I would think it’s going to create a bigger demand from other people too.
That was one of the FIRST thoughts I had too! It’s already getting harder and harder to find carts in good condition at a low price. I’m kicking myself for selling some of mine.
