Wow I didn't even know AI Midi transcription was a thing. This is awesome!
Yeah it transcribes on a level that I don't think was possible before, and so fast! I had to edit it a lot still, could notice wrong notes and many notes not transcribed, in chords particularly. On the whole though, it's amazing
This awesome!! I love her cover but it's easier for me to follow a midi than taking more time to read the music. Of course I need to work on that, but in the meantime this is great! Thank you!!!
How can I make a midi for the classical birthday video she made?
I used PianoTrans, a program available at github.com/azuwis/pianotrans, for this. You upload an mp3 audio file to it and it outputs a mid file. I've found it does a really really good job.
(More information on how to use it as well as how it actually does that is available on the github page). Using the program uses a lot of RAM - around 2.5-3 GB.
I personally edit the midi files in 'midieditor' to clean them up, mostly just shortening the note lengths since piano trans tends to make them quite long - this is very easy in the software if you select all the notes and then set the duration.

@@_LightningRod_ it was clearly well intentioned, likely a language barrier. Respect the effort and im sure they'll improve
