Sir if we do postdoc from IITs, can we apply immediately for faculty position there? Or there are some exceptions? I want to do my first postdoc from IIT, I am also about to submit my PhD thesis in IIT Madras.
Also is there any eligibility criteria for postdoc for european countries? Like IITs have age criteria. And I also read some rules which confused me for Marie curie scholarship!
Yes you can certainly apply for the assistant professor job while you are an iit postdoc. In most foreign postdocs the age limits are related to years after PhD rather than chronological age. Check the humboldt postdoc for example. You can also go for the inspire postdoc in India.
