debating if I drive 33 miles (but 50 min) each way to the closest WM that has it near me. I live w/in minutes of 4 WM's but none of them had it. My local brick shop had tons of them and advertised it as in the 20-50% off Black Friday category then only had 10% off (so 108 from 120). The staff kept telling me to hold off when it was $90 dented box or no box already built (but with book) and that the mgr had so many of them that they expected it to be $80 or less.... So, that didn't come to be. Kind of perturbed about that, so I found it for WM in their parking lot and was ready to drive over but realized none of my suburban ones had it in stock... ugh. I guess I also didn't realize it was heading to retirement as it is creeping up in price on Amazon too, above the $120 list price.
I mean, Lego is to each their own. And I like Seinfeld probably right up there at that same level of all time favorite TV shows, but I look at the Seinfeld one, and I just don't love it. I know that they did it to look like the set during filming and not as the apt you see on tv. And I know they need to do sets a certain way, but it's kind of bugged me that his apt shape most likely couldn't have really fit into the building. And the disconnect between the hallways and doors and then what the apt looks like inside. And the way they did the back of that Lego set kind of turns me off. Looks very unfinished. But again, it's the back of a studio set, so I get it. But it's not for me, even though I loved that show also. But this Office set just really jumps out at me, and I'm really thinking of buying it. Which is rare. As an adult of kids who are big Lego fans, I will buy used sets or pick a brick or craig list finds to stock for them and to build their creativity. But I never have bought a set for myself. And I am wondering if the gallons of pieces I could get for the same money in pick-a-brick would be worth giving up to build this set once and then just have it sitting there.
I was talking to one of the ladies working in the local brick shop, and my thought was that this was purposeful.... that they took a snapshot in time of the exact episode(s) when he was in anger mgmt. As like another easter egg, if that makes sense.
I keep going to buy it but then I’m like naahhh…even at sale price I just couldn’t do it. I think it’s because they are awkward to display/fit into city.
@@TheBrickQuest Yeah, if I get it, it won't be in a city for me. Now, we don't have a huge display or anything. A shelf in two different rooms, and then we realized the big windowsill in the boys' bedroom that just had random knick knacks should be a little city... Or basically one road with a cross street that goes just the depth of one building .... LOL. But on the end we put a Friends (the Lego brand, not the tv show) set we got for super clearance price. Of course we had to put it together, but I bought it in my mind just for cheap bulk pieces. We haven't found or built a replacement for that one yet, so it still sits there but looks well out of place. As would any TV set. Not sure where I would put it really. We are getting enough sets and our own builds from competitions at the local shop that I probably need to find another shelf and start sorting out the themes a bit more. Right now, it's all kind of random other than the window shelf in their bedroom.
For me a highlight is that pot of chili that Kevin spilled!
I know. Love that scene! 😂
Made my own Andy to add to set. Had to have him included
Thats awesome! I love Andy’s character.
Had to buy it before it goes! Wonderful set!!😍😍
Totally agree! Amazing set!
Got it for $70 on walmart for black friday
Awesome! I had to pick up a couple at the price too. Great deal!

I got 2 so I could build the annex rebrickable!
Awesome! I’ve actually thought about putting that together myself.
it's already gone for me, went out of stock the day I was gonna buy it
Man that sucks. Not sure where you live but check Walmart if you are near one.
its a no for me, especially cause of all the stickers. If this would have been prints, i would buy it
I get it. There are a ton of stickers for a set of this size.

@@NinjaVerseEdits thanks! Much appreciated!
@@TheBrickQuest np man your welcome
I'm surprised of not seeing the Big Bang Theory set on here.
That was such a terrible show
@themonado5030 terrible show, but the set sells 3 to x4 retail.
Just like Lego omitted the NardDog, you left out the hole he punched in the wall out of your top 10. Great set though.

it is a great set, I got two, one was built and one is sealed
Good call! I did the same thing. 1 built, 1 sealed.
I keep going to buy it but then I’m like naahhh…even at sale price I just couldn’t do it.

Ya you’re right. Not great for a city layout. Just kind of a standalone piece.

65 😬💀
I know. As an Office fan it hurt me to give it a 65 grade
@@TheBrickQuest As an Office fan I would definitely give it a 8+. Even though its not made for everyone...
Which one is Ricky Gervais? He was always my favourite character out of the office.
I believe Rick Gervais played in the British version of the office. He was a great character!
It’s the American version of The Office. It’s Steve Carrel instead of Gervais.
ha ha
Short *answer* is no. Unless you like this model or participate in online boxed Lego set sales.
True! Good way to put it
