    All your videos were a pleasure to watch. In June i will start my 21 day trip to Nordkapp and back. Im counting the days already. Your videos gave me some ideas too, like renting a drone. Loved the drone footage. Drive safe.

    Michael, cheers for sharing the whole series... do you have a comprehensive run down of the route you guys chose together with the campsites you stayed at (maybe with some recommendations on what to checkout and what you possibly missed this time around that you would given the chance see next time around)? .... fantastic clips... thx.!

      Thanks for your kind feedback. Much appreciated. I have the GPS tracks with the campsites we ended up with. We had an idea on which ones to chose, based on a realistic estimate on every days distance. But it’s really not a problem to find places where you can stay the night. Nothing was booked on beforehand. That gave us the flexibility to look for something else, if the campsite we were aiming for didn’t live up to our expectations. The most relevant recommendation should be that your gear matters. Prepare for bad weather...😊

    Nice to see a 1200GS be actually used fror once.
    Usually theyre just those "pampered sunday-toys" to show off that you can afford it.
    this is great tho.

    Great video(s)! Really enjoying your attention to detail with the journey. I was wondering what editing software you use as I am about to upgrade and not sure what direction I want to go. Again, excellent video series and look forward to more in the future. Regards - Erik

      Many thanks for the feed back. Much appreciated 😊.
      I'm using Apples Final Cut Pro X (FCPX) and Apple Motion for some of the map overlays with the arrow following the route. However, I guess the best software for video editing is what you feel comfortable with. I find FCPX excellent for what I want to achieve. Furthermore you will find a lot of tutorials for FCPX on the net with great ideas and "how to's". I will really recommend the tutorials from www.rippletraining.com and the "Final Cut Pro 10.4 Core Training" in particular. It will cost you a little money, but it is absolutely worth it. You can check them out before you actually invest your money, but they are really doing a great job. Good luck with your search... Cheers

      A very big thank you for the response. I thought it might be FCP :) I want to upgrade from my primitive videos using iMovie so your response is timely. The map overlays are a feature I have been trying to figure out as I see it on a lot of moto videos and think that is such a great addition. Even my "Google Map" photos get positive responses. Overall excellent editing on your part and my wife and I have enjoyed watching...again, thank you and keep up the great work - look forward to future videos from you!
      All the best, Erik

    Nice video's, really enjoyed the series! I will be going to the nordkapp myself this July and I was wondering though, did you make all the camping reservations beforehand or is there generally enough availability of campsites?

    • @mavil2112
      @mavil2112  6 років тому

      @Rick Nieling: Many thanks for your feedback. We did not make any camping reservations on beforehand. However, our destinations were, with a few exceptions, preplanned. Just to have a goal for each day’s ride. You will find, that there is lots of places to camp, either in a cabin or tent. We only once experienced lack of availability. Then you just drive another few minutes to the next camping site. Wish you a good journey and .... drive safe...🏍☀️
