バイ貝 Catching and eating Babylon Sea Snails Fishing in Japan

Went fishing out on the sandy beaches around Enoshima Island. The tide was so low I only managed to catch some Babylon Sea Snails, which are very popular in Asian dishes. The was a warning about eating too many of the snails caught around this area. But I caught some and cooked them in various ways.
The Fish and Game department in Kanagawa prefecture did issue a warning about eating too many sea snails in one sitting because of the bioaccumulutive toxins that remain in the snails from feeding on the ocean floor. So, its best to clean out the guts of the snail before eating.
