Exactly made the same choice on going with the a7cii + 40mm 2.5 G because I wasn't happy with the AF on the x100vi. For still, x100vi was great but with two toddlers, it was pretty much useless unless I instructed them to stay still- which is impossible! Thank you for this pov!
I can relate about the toddlers. There's no way to make them stand still more than 2 seconds 📷😊 Glass you like your combo. Competition is coming (Leica Q3...) but I'm confident the Sony a7c2 combo with the 40 will stand its ground 📷👍🏽🙂
The same camera and the same lens, only I live in Ukraine :) This is really a very nice setup, I love it for its compactness. Thanks for the video! Beautiful photos of a beautiful country! Vive la France!
The 40mm focal length is good, but I like the 35mm focal length more, so I have the excellent Sony Carl Zeiss Sonna 35mm 2.8 T* ZA which also are more compact and light weight than the Sony 40mm 2.5 G ! I got (2023) the Sony Carl Zeiss Sonnar 35mm 2.8 T* ZA used for US $215 (taxes included) in very good condition.
Hi Lazhar. Ah yes, the excellent, Gordon Willis, what an amazing career he had 'Manhattan' and 'Broadway Danny Rose' that he shot for, Woody Allen, in B&W. I like the 40mm set up, that as you know, I use on a GX85. It is more versatile that the 50mm I use on my D700. All cameras have limitations of one kind or another but I think it is about taking advantage of them and shooting in a different way because of them. Those days when it is hard to get into a groove are like practising piano as a child until you hit a sequence of notes that take you to a sound you like and then, the fun begins. I agree that finding a place with a theme can also get things going, unless, as happened to me this week when a cyclist rode straight across the shot and ruined it, grrrrrr :-)). I will send you a photo later on this evening. I had a discussion recently about ethics in photography and went out to deliberately take a picture that could be cropped two ways that addressed the subject. Enjoy the rest of your day.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
hi is this sooc?
Hi. No I used a vintage preset :) Thanks for watching ;)
I like the video but the color from the camera looks off; too yellow or something.
Hello, thank you for pointing this out. I experimented a new recipe for the photo editing. 😊
yeah, he needs to set the color balance
@@lazhar_captures OK so that's not the original colors, right? Because I just bought it and waiting to receive it!
Seems like the colors are way off
Thank you for watching 📷🙂
