It also awesome to see different plastics from a same disc and how it flies. Great comparison video. It’s awesome. Hard for me though to take the Toro and the Distortion out of my bag.
I’ve had 2 of the Andrew presnell soft zones that I’ve bagged over the past year. Much more stable than I expected and, most surprising, they retain their stability over time even after beating in. Probably has to do with the fact that it gets more puddle top as it breaks in but was surprising since I expected it to fly like Jawbreaker or rubber blend zones.
Just wanted to mention, the way you edited the score along the stacked plastics was very inventive and visually pleasing. Well done! As an aside, I've been loving the quantity and quality content this season, I know it's a ton of work though, so please don't burn out! Too many creators end up having to take a big hiatus and never really getting back in the groove. Take care!
Appreciate that so much Tyson! I'm honestly not super worried about burn out because of my editing speed after years of practice and taking the time for myself to not post if I can't (2 vids like I didn' post 2 today or 2 days ago even though I planned to). On top of that, the financial rewards are starting to come in as well since more poeple are viewing so that helps make me want to edit and shoot more lol! And it's a fun job!!!
For some reason I didn't like my TI FLX I thought I would but I just couldn't throw it right...I really wanna try the crystal flx....I bag an esp right now....trying to find the perfect plastic for me still.
@@brettmchan2855 Yeah I've tried Z and ESP, but I have hyperhydrosis in my hands, so I need something super grippy to not slip out. Crystal FLX is probably a safer bet for people with less sweaty hands lol
@Eli Wirth whatever works right?!?! I didn't think that the TI FLX was any less stable I just couldn't get a clean consistent release with it so I put it in my little go bag I keep in the back of the car in case I run across a course unexpectedly and I need some discs hahah
My favorite is my new Uv reactive get freaky My second is my ledgestone cryztal glow, more stable than cryztal flx imo Edit. I think both of these plastics are similar in stability, i was trying to find one similar to the uv reactive get freaky.
I bag 3 zones, jawbreaker beat in and can get some crazy silly lines for the wooded courses. ESP zone that actually had dome so she my straight to late dump, then crystal flx for the ole beef cake
I’m amazed seeing that get freaky bounce like that. Mine dies as soon as it hits the ground. I have a 2022 mdgo bottom stamp that is absolutely my favorite.
Anthony, just want to state this. Love your channel and its crazy cause i do not like watching just round play throughs since they are just boring but you make them entertaining. Mainly with your detailed editing and also with how you talk to the audience constantly keep our retention. Just saying, if you keep this up, you will grow pretty fast. Ps your disc gold skill after such a short time is very good. Keep killin it bud!
I currently like a Thought Space Temple for a base plastic soft overstable approach disc, followed by Ti Swirl Zone and then Midnight Flyer Quake as I go up in speed for that slot. Can't fine the old X Soft Zones anymore. And the Z zone is my least favorite as well, no grip.
There’s 2 slots for the Zone in my bag. A thrower, and a true approach. CryZtal or ZFlex as one and the Presnell swirly softs as the other. The swirly softs are substantially more u/s in comparison to the other plastics, but the way they grip when they land is an invaluable tool in the bag.
My favorite approach disc is a 4x Zone. The ti flex is nice too, but I've had a lot of chain outs with it. The get freaky has never left my bag since I got it.
I have 2 Pro-D Zones that I bought in 2011 that both have aces on them, but I still throw them because nothing flies like they do. They don't make the soft, grippy Pro-D like that anymore either. I also have 2 ESPs, a Cryztal and a Jawbreaker .. because I like Zones. When people say "If you like the Zone, you should try !!" I always ask why? If it flies different, I don't want it. If it flies the same as my Zones, then why bother replacing them? LOL
I use the Crystal Goose Zone for longer forehands and a hyzer backhand when I'm looking for a bit of a skip, and then I have Jawbreaker for upshots and straighter shots that I'm looking for no ground play.
PmcB Z Line 5x Zones are my personal favorite. Stiff with great stability and but soft enough to have great grip plus once they beat in they're dead straight and reliable into wind still. I also bag a Soft Zone for those shots you to just stick to the ground when they land. P.s Come to the Central East Coast of Fl!
I love my crystal flx get freaky zone I have small hands and I can only forehand things currently being so new I can't figure out bh I enjoy the feel of how shallow it is
I have an old Jawbreaker, Crystal flx, and Crystal Sparkle and can tell a big difference between the three. Gotta try the Crystal Sparkle next as it feels great and is more overstable and consistent.
I have a esp that has seen some action and it now has a pretty good puddle top going on and I like it. I got a TI FLX from a tourney that I was excited about because I thought okay a little softer and puddle top I can get behind this but for some reason I didn't throw it as well as my esp. I think if I get some gift certificates for Christmas I am getting the get freaky and a jawbreaker one to put in the bag
I've been using Harps over Zones for years for 2 reasons: availability (in Finland) and plastic variety. Now the Zone is beginning to be an option. I probably won't switch although I do like the shape of the Zone more for forehanding because I'm so used to the shape of the Harp for backhand shots and I have multiple ones in different stages of wear. But I don't see any major issues in switching anymore.
Titanium is my favorite Zone, and OTB recently got more in! It has a better grip than Z and is more overstable than Cryztal FLX. The Titanium and Cryztal FLX pair well, though, as the Cryztal FLX skips less due to the give when it hits the ground.
Right now I’m bagging a vip harp, but I’m interested in trying out the zone. I know they are both very similar though, so idk if it’s even worth spending the money.
Hey a couple more mid ranges to try is the buzz, mindbender, and an under rated one in basic plastic is the shark my dad still throws it! and it behaves very well
Just a question about your filming gear, what kind of microphone did you have clipped onto your hat, and how is it connected to your camera? I assumed bluetooth, but I don't know if you record with a phone or a dslr type camera
I love grippier, more flexible plastic for forehanding. My favourite forehand disc is the Frost Line XXX by Lat64, such a shame that plastic isn't in production anymore 😔. (Frost/Fluid/Elasto)
I have had a GF zone for 2+ years beaten in perfectly “straight” stable, Got the swirly soft last year because of the ground action, has beaten in pretty good and it doesn’t beat in like jawbreaker, at least mine just has 0 glide compared to GF and very torque resistant, Just put a Z flx in the bag nice and stable new guy, if you like GF zones these are almost the same for 1/2 the cost
I was filming a video and this guy asked to play with us and he let me try his z zone. I had tried titanium, and cryztal flx zones titanium was just not working. Cryztal was too overstable. And when I tried that guys zone it flew so perfectly and I nearly aced a hole. Just like Anthony did on hole one. I might also get a jawbreaker version
Hey man. I really appreciate your insight and your enthusiasm about the game and the science of it. Really great content! I look forward to watching you on tour!
My FLX zone has a puddle top and is a BEEFY boy. I can throw it on hyzer as hard as I can and it will not go farther than 170. If I flex it I can get max 250. It is perfect for approach. For reference, I can throw my Envy 350
planning on it! Just haven't been in a "building my own bag" phase right now, will likely test out some to cover my esp zone slot and retire that baby for all the good work he's done. Pension and all. we're pro labor over here!
I'm a sucker for some jawbreaker plastic, especially on an approach disc. It's like they always bounce the way I want them to.
It also awesome to see different plastics from a same disc and how it flies. Great comparison video. It’s awesome. Hard for me though to take the Toro and the Distortion out of my bag.
I got a Toro and felt a better release in my hand, going straight in my bag. Still going to use my zones but Toro is very good compared to the zone
Again! Another huge thank you for this video! Got a cryztal flx coming in the morning and can’t wait to go test and break it in!
I’ve had 2 of the Andrew presnell soft zones that I’ve bagged over the past year. Much more stable than I expected and, most surprising, they retain their stability over time even after beating in. I had a similar experience with exo soft tactics. Looks beat to crap but didn’t lose much stability
100% agree gets more warped and puddle top as it beats in!

My favorite Zone plastic is Ti FLX! Nice and gummy but still very stable. Also would love to see you throw a Passion!
I wish they didn't have metallic, blend into the ground colors. I love my crystal flx

Great content bro. Keep it going
Also I kind of hated my Z Zone at first but it’s really grown on me as it’s beaten in.
If I lost my freaky zones I don’t know that I would want to go play anymore. So freaky good
i have a z zone and tht thing is slick af. i was having the same problem and thought i was alone lol
I’m amazed seeing that get freaky bounce like that. Mine dies as soon as it hits the ground. I have a 2022 mdgo bottom stamp that is absolutely my favorite.

ESP Zone is one of my favorite discs in the bag ❤️ I would love to try the others
That was one really great disc review 👍 makes me wish I hadn’t already ordered a crystal flex zone already 🤦
Don't be sorry! Cryztal FLX is excellent.
I lost it at the "no heheheheheh" edit. Great content!

The swirly softs are substantially more u/s in comparison to the other plastics, but the way they grip when they land is an invaluable tool in the bag.
If you like soft zones, you must try the thoughtspace temple in nerve plastic.
My favorite approach disc is a 4x Zone. The ti flex is nice too, but I've had a lot of chain outs with it. The get freaky has never left my bag since I got it.
Your forehand throws are super smooth ❤️

5x has a good flight but not grippy. I prefer r pro pig and a proton PYRO. The pig stops on a dime in grass.
I love my crystal flx get freaky zone I have small hands and I can only forehand things currently being so new I can't figure out bh I enjoy the feel of how shallow it is
Appreciate the review! Have you tried the Zone OS yet?
Video will be coming tomorrow!
I’ve had my krystal flx glow zone in my bag for 12yrs now. That plastic took forever to break in! Just a hair flippy now but still sticks every upshot
My crystal flex was a boomerang when I got it. So stable. Broke in to an absolute laser beam and has stayed there for over a year now.
Can confirm. My z Flx zone was beef when I got it but after a couple months it's gotten straighter with less skip.
Personally I have a puddle top esp zone and it’s my all time favorite disc. It’s beat in to a laser straight with a reliable fade and it’s money
I have a jawbreaker, crystal flx, z glo, harp, and Toro lol 😆
I have an old Jawbreaker, Crystal flx, and Crystal Sparkle and can tell a big difference between the three. Gotta try the Crystal Sparkle next as it feels great and is more overstable and consistent.
Would definitely bag the soft and the crystal flx. Getting the difference would be awesome
My jaw breaker zone is my favorite up shot disc 🤘🏼
I was not going to watch this one but....I keep getting a Zone in the Holiday Disc Swap. Maybe I'll put it in the bag for a couple of rounds.
I have a esp that has seen some action and it now has a pretty good puddle top going on and I like it. Yea I have two TI flx and they are great. I like them better than esp flx in terms of grip

You should try an A2 in 300 soft, it’s my favourite approach disc and replaced my Zones for those shots. No skips!
Bag it baby!
Titanium is my favorite Zone, and OTB recently got more in! It has a better grip than Z and is more overstable than Cryztal FLX. The Titanium and Cryztal FLX pair well, though, as the Cryztal FLX skips less due to the give when it hits the ground.

Really enjoy the editing arrows ver considerate
I gotchu ;)
PPuddle top approach discs are all i bag U want that no glide flight!
I only have the ESP, but the zone feels soo good in the hand.
Hey a couple more mid ranges to try is the buzz, mindbender, and an under rated one in basic plastic is the shark my dad still throws it! and it behaves very well
reviewed all of those on the channel already! 😎
My soft puddle top zone is overstable and feels like butter when throwing :)
Just a question about your filming gear, what kind of microphone did you have clipped onto your hat, and how is it connected to your camera? I assumed bluetooth, but I don't know if you record with a phone or a dslr type camera
Since when having a disc for 9 months qualifies for old disc? :D I have discs that are like 7 years old and they are not old for me :D
I love grippier, more flexible plastic for forehanding. My favourite forehand disc is the Frost Line XXX by Lat64, such a shame that plastic isn't in production anymore 😔. (Frost/Fluid/Elasto)

What kind of microphone are you using? I was looking into getting something like that.
Criminal that the putter line zone diddnt make this video by far one of the most useable discs ever
lock me up! ⛓⛓⛓
Did the tree hit it or did it hit the tree?
I bag a soft zone and a stable esp zone my soft zone is nice and flippy with a touch of fade and it is starting to warp really bad lol
Discraft content 😍
Lmao I can stand still either 😭 just throw it stright into the ground 😂
I have a zone in basic plastic and it flies much better than my FLX. Maybe because it's not as overstable, and also 4 grams less weight.
I've had three zones. Why do they get "lumpy" on the top?
OK now can I say that you met me at Laramie Wyoming remember that kid that came up to you asking if you are youtuber that’s me
yeah!! No way!!!
I still wanna see you test a ringer GT
Did you putt today? 🤔😉I bought a swirly soft zone a few weeks ago,but haven’t thrown it yet. Interesting to see you throw it.👍

You're definitely not Brody Smith 😂😂 Brody Smith because you would have yelled, let's go 40 times in this video 😂
I aced twice with the same crystal flx zone but I lost it last week, they were both skip aces.
That is heartbreaking!!! 🥲
I love the jawbreaker
The zone didn't stick because it hit the weak side. Great shot tho!
The Zone might just be the best disc on the planet.
Graham Creek - The Prairie
I like the mic on the hat 🧢
Thought space temple is like a base plastic zone
Oh also You said you needed an under stable for your bag I got 2 recommendations. Viking ragnorok or innova archon
Z flx is the best plastic overall imo
Try esp scorch

Pro-D.
I didn’t like the zone and I think that’s because I had a Z zone. It had zero grip. I find a lot of discraft plastic to feel too slick for my liking
Never had a chance right side lol 🧂
Would like this vid but it would be like number 666
I'll just leave this here..RPM Kea.
Z for me
ew lol 😉
