I have an 843 and I think it's one of the most stylish small cars you can buy for the price. Mine has full Alcantara seats, which I've never found from factory in any other car, Alcantara trim on the dashboard and door panels, and this exact exterior color, which I think looks especially beautiful when the sun sets. It's reasonably punchy, even with the base line diesel, and very economical over longer distances (I've averaged below 4l/100 km). I've replaced the power steering and the clutch, and I now have to replace the rear shocks, but the car is 14 years old so that's to be expected. I also have the double sunroof, which is a great option and lets a lot of light into the cabin, however I should warn that I've found rust around the sunroof area. Overall, for a cautious owner, it's a reliable, economical and stylish Italian car. If you can find one for under 4000 euros, well maintained and with low mileage, I think it's a bargain.
I have the 840 Elefantino Rosso and i really love mine too I got it for 250 euros what can you get for that money that is this luxurious and nice?
Well, I have an 843 with the 1.4 l 16 v engine and while it does not drive like a racing car it is definitely more than snappy. Factory stats declare 10.9 seconds from 0 to 100 which is by no means bad for a 95 hp city car. That isn't its trump card though. What makes this an excellent small car in my opinion are its charm, its looks and its equipment. Mine is almost 17 years old and there's literally no rattles or sounds in the cabin and it's just phenomenally silent and comfortable for such a small car with a relatively short wheelbase. The top speed is around 180 which is again more than respectable and once you're cruising around 120-140 its main drawback (a relatively high fuel consumption if you enjoy snappier driving) is gone. It is a gorgeous luxury mini car, though I would always advise people to look for the 1.4 petrol with 95 hp or the 1.3 multijet with 90 or 105 hp which are hard to find but offer the same performance as the petrol and are much more frugal. And if you manage to find a Momo Design Ypsilon Sport model, it has a stiffened suspension to go with the 105 hp multijet diesel for a lot more fun while costing you little to nothing in terms of fuel economy. The 843 Ypsilon is a very underrated little car!
I have bought 1.4 16v momo design. The engine spec is fine but the air box filter is melting from below from factory ( i may install cold intake ). There is a bit of rust on the roof and on the rocker panels but i will try to fix it.
This Lancia is so lovely.

Hebben deze auto als stadsauto voor erbij. Ongelooflijk stil en comfortabel voor zijn klasse. Tevens nooit, maar dan ook nooit wat mee aan de hand, terwijl die soms best wat betere zorg verdiend. Blijft het altijd doen, ziet er leuk uit, rijdt fijn... Tja, perfecte auto voor erbij.
Van dat stille merk je niet zoveel tijdens deze review, helaas.
btracing Klopt. Maar dat is wel het eerste dat opvalt als je met de auto onderweg bent. Hij is stiller dan veel c segmenters.
Just spotted a nice one being sold in Bulgaria 2006 multijet 1.3 for 2900 Lev just under 1500 euros GRT buy,but I think Bulgarian roads might be a bit rough for it...I think it's a Italian import ..some bargains to be had on Facebook in Bulgaria especially luxury vehicles..I thought the video was GRT very informative information coming up on the screen and a honest approval of the lancia car with comparisons to a fiat 500 the lancia being better....double sunroof wow,the info centre looked good,but again like many Italian cars it's the electronics that lets it down oh and heads up about power steering... hopefully this bloke has more car reviews..
You can say the airbag warning light is a minor thing, but I had it happen once or twice on a Punto while I was doing a good speed on a motorway. Not a good time for warnings. I was glad to trade it in. No more Italian cars for me. Lovely to look at but not to own.
We are thinking of buying an automatic 2009 model 1.4 16V version for my wife. Which is 56000km. How was the engine in your experience?
Ik hou van italianse autos groot gek van alfa maar kom ik 8 duizend voor een ypsilon tweede hands en niet up-to-date voor die prijs heb je ook een tweede hands mito of 4de generatie ypsilon

I bought Momo Design 2007. 1.4 16v and you didnt mention this engine melting air filter housing from below ( too close to engine/ exhaust system)... Also some rust here and there ...

what car is more reliable as second handed, with better automatic gearbox ? this lancia with the dualogic , or Citroen C4 2008 with egs???
Heerlijk karretje. Vele kilometers zonder problemen mee gereden . Onderhoud ook niets behalve regulier filtertje en olie. Vele malen leuker als dertien in dozijn Duister. Laat iedereen maar lekker voor de voor te veel geld een polo kopen. Over paar jaar gewoon een versere op de kop tikken en weer fijn mee door rijden.
De linkerkoplamp is doffer dan de rechter. Een van de lampen is er later ingezet neem ik aan. Heeft die schade gehad?
Wel erg veel geld voor een klein Italiaans autootje van 13 jaar oud ...

@@sajmircani1992 non la guido più io, il computer di bordo comunque segna 20,4 come consumo medio. 270.000km e catena di distribuzione originale
@@Bobby10WRX ottimi consumi io ho la vecchia y 840 elefantino rosso ma quella di consumi e su 10 litri questa intorno a 5 è ottimo forse la prendo in considerazione per andare a lavoro come faccio 40-50 km ogni giorno
@@sajmircani1992 si la vecchia y aveva consumi altini soprattutto la elefantino rosso che però ha un bel motore con più di 80cv. Poi dipende anche dal tipo di strada che si fa e da quanto sei attento ai consumi. Prendi in considerazione anche i dci della Renault che fanno pure meglio dei Multijet, quindi una vecchia Clio o Modus. Poi c'è la soluzione GPL che permette di risparmiare ancora di più però bisogna vedere cosa si trova nell' usato..

Sorry but if Poland is not sexy for you what to say about the Netherlands? Flat, boring, etc. I like your videos but sometimes you'd better shut your mouth up. On the second thought, I want to nuance my entry a little bit. The thing is I have an impression the perception of Poles in your country is.....well, not positive, to tell it very gently. I know you received many migrants from Poland and many of them are low-skilled physical workers so don't impress you with their manners. However, if you speak about Poland itself, you should first see it. Italy is nice and sexy ( l lived there so I know) but Poland is bigger and more diversified, you have everything, from mountains through very old forests to a sea (cold as yours, true). Also (of course de gustibus....Polish women are prettier than Italians). Btw. my wife's grandfather actuallly liberated your country (naturally, with other soldiers/nations), that's why I'm a bit sensitive about the subject. Your tube is great, yes, you have sometimes very shitty commercial videos but in general it's my favourite (in this domain). Just some more respect pls.

Why would you use an English title but speak German?
