So In 2018 she wasn’t dead when we killed her and freed her corrupted spirit? I always figured the Valkyries died when we freed their souls, then went to Valhalla and just walked back out 🤷🏽♂️
I feel like she should be allowed in Valhalla. And the burning was because she’s not supposed to intervene with the experience that Valhalla gives to other people. Hence “I’m not supposed to be here”. She was supposed to just leave them to their fate, especially because Kratos broke the rules. Valhalla didn’t appreciate her trying to help someone it’s trying to punish.
That's how i imagined it aswell? Kratos and Atreus killed the body corrupted and twisted by Odin, which let the spirit free and since they were Valkerys i assumed they had always been sprits?
Ah, it's a smal plothole that i think i can live with
@@Mukation bruh Kratos and Atreus freed them they were in corrupted forms to go back to their duties of carrying the dead to Valhalla they returned as shieldmaidens because of Freya's vanir magic to help in Ragnarok its not a plothole
I'm goin got guess we will see Sigrun in Loki's DLC/Short Game. While Loki's exploring the realms (and maybe even beyond) trying to find the Giants, Sigrun, Angrboda, and Thrud will absolutely be a part of his story. Side note - with all of this character development outside of Kratos, I will be pissed if in GOW 6 all of these characters just disappear and just become memories from his past. I truly hope Santa Monica finds a way to keep these characters in GOW 6 and not just be quick encounters, and not actually play a part in the new story.
At the very moment when everything he wanted in life was coming true…Mimir made a tremendous sacrifice for Sigrun
Mamir is Puck from mid summer night dream
Sigrun ought to become sekhmet in egypt
They were already short on valkyries, with her departure it’s just 2 left. Freya doesn’t count. You think she would have gone on this self discovery tour after new valkyries were added.
well I certainly know one Valkeyrie-in-training. Freya is around, and I'm quite sure Sif would have no qualms about Freya training her daughter
Imagine a Freya/Thrud DLC bro.
@@andray310 like please God....its right there, please tell them to do this and take my money 😂😂😂
@@SouthernRam right. I would. Imagine that’s free too?
hopefully they added a teaser like the thor one in the first game in the valhalla or game update
I've been playing this, and this recap is so helpful. You're a great story teller, and I didn't realize just how much of this I'd missed while getting this story in bits and pieces.
How do I get the cutscene without spoilers. Finished the DLC story and done extra runs and nothing yet.
Continue doing runs with Kratos and collect the rest of his relics. 3 more relics and each relic needs to be collected 3 times. So minimum of 9 more runs. Keep beating Tyr each time and you'll see/hear the dialogue. Once you collected all 9. Play a 10th time and that's when you get the secret ending. Each piece to collect is in the very first "room" right behind the weapons glyph chest.
I relate to this story a lor
Damn you killed a god and took his powers and plunged the world into destruction…respect
@@LennartBeumer not that, mimir and sigrun’s love story
@jordansimeonov1501 Na this dude killed some gods!
@@derrickcarbona9245 man I think so to man he hiding the truth
But wait a minute, how did he put his foot in the lake of nine and use the boat when he is just a head?
He said, metaphorically in a line after
Obviously Valhalla is super popular, I just would have rather gotten plain story DLC, not roguelike Dlc, it seems to be a pretty popular genre, personally not sure why, but the story aspects of Valhalla were pretty awesome to see...
For combat with kratos
@@Gearsofwartai So like the main game, also story Dlc would have had that same thing..
@@chrisfatecj426 Id say that it’s sorta the feeling of being underpowered and slowly becoming overpowered the more levels you progress. It’s hard to feel that in the storyline if you’ve played it multiple times atleast for me. I enjoyed being given the tools to fight and get overpowered.
@@chrisfatecj426 this gives infinite relatability
@@iainsteele5737 How so? Most the time, you are fighting the same enemies, in the same spots, the story only lasts through a limited number of runs, different strokes, for different folks, is all...
