I'm just SO impressed by how much effort and research you put into all your videos. As a librarian, it really makes me happy to see someone researching so deeply about something they love. Great video as always!!
My Conclusion? Assuming that these toys were both Christmas and Birthday presents for the 10 years of Andy’s childhood, adding in the likelihood that Andy stole from Molly, that’s basically $100+ in toys every year, with Andy’s friends and relatives being incredibly uncreative.
I have been forcibly reminded of two separate moments in my childhood. 1) The time I decided to recreate Disney World (to the best of my eight year old recollection) using my three Ello sets and 2) How much I loved K'nex. (I built a roller coaster.)
I can only imagine you yelling out loud in the middle of the park "CURSE YOU, DISNEY DAN!" And getting yourself a free ticket to the security office xD
Rob!!! you are nuts!!! I can't believe you counted the K'Nex pieces in the park. This is an amazing video and you Sir are one determined UA-camr. Thanks for your amazing videos and your passion.
Loved this so much!! The dedication in counting all these things, seriously above and beyond. ‘This does not satiate me, I need more blocks’ is my new motto in life.
This was by far the funniest video to date. I was cracking up so much on so many of the sarcastic remarks. Thank you Disney Dan for having the idea for this funny Rob Plays video.
Man, you really made the area sound like crap with that intro xD It's a fine area! Fun roller coaster for everyone (we convinced my coaster-hating sister to get on it and she wanted to go again!), well themed, and kids love it! The shading is indeed an issue tho, they kinda forgot about that part in planning the park.
Awesome!!! Also I'm going to imagine that Andy didn't get all the toys at once, but over his childhood. I mean we don't know how old he is and also remember he's got a sister. I don't know if you had siblings, but when you do there's a lot if doubles of toys. So that covers why he's got two Ech-A-Sketches and why he's got so many of those connect toys.
That is a fair point. I'm also wondering if Andy just slowly stashed away his building blocks so that over the course of 7 years he could build up enough for his park.
Great video with an impressive effort put in! Thank goodness Andy's mom bought Andy's love with most every other toy, but held a firm line on K'Nex vs Legos. Every kid needs boundaries!
Ok Rob. This had got to be one of your most entertaining scripts. The subject is awesome and as usual very well done. But the bits of humor truly kept a smile on my face through the entire video.
My theory is that Andy's mom used to drag him to all sorts of yard sales and that is how he got many of these toys. Oh, i think one of the etch-a-sketch belonged to his sister.
Great video, but with one exception: Perhaps you could move the final price drop to the end? That way people will be more compelled to sit through the rest of this masterful work. Great job on counting all the stuff, by the way!
It’s possible that Andy bought a lot of these toys from thrift stores and garage sales. I know several people who thrift shop specifically for toys to either give to their kids or the nursery their kids attends. That would explain all the multiple toys, odd number of toys, and the odd games that no one is familiar with.
Andy has two checkers sets because he lost his first one in the move. The movers stuck it in the same box as the Xmas decorations, and therefor did not find it until way later. This also explains the Xmas lights that weren’t covered in the video. I guess they belong to the mom, thus not Andy’s. That, and they’re not being considered a toy, just like the trash popsicle benches aren’t. And Andy does NOT have two Etch A Sketches. He has one, and his sister has one. You can’t expect him to share. What if they both want to play with it at the same time? And little siblings are the worst! You create a masterpiece, and they shake it up before you even get a chance to show your mom. “What are you doing in my room?!? You have you’re own stuff! Get your own!!!” Other fan theory: birthday party. Sometimes kids will give gifts that a kid already has, and the parent will open it up anyway, especially if they raised the child to pretend how grateful they are having received it. “It’s what I always wanted.” Can’t return it if it’s opened. We had two battleships because of this.
Very impressive! Never even crossed my mind that Andy could be spoiled. Perhaps the classic toys , such as the building blocks, board games, and Army Men, were passed down to him from his Mother or other family members. The more modern toys maybe hand me downs from older kids. Andy has a huge passion for toys and imagination, and really makes the most of everything.... Perhaps it is Andy’s dream to be a Disney Imagineer.....

Hi 👋 Disney Dan
Disney Dan hey 👋🏻
Your dorkiest video yet...and, quite possibly, my favorite.
NeitherDreamingNorPretending this video sounds like something Matpat would make... he’s calculated all possible levels to build... or BDG who hosts Unraveled, on the channel Polygon, who has read way to many legal documents for the research for episodes of Unraveled
So yeah, there is now 3 UA-camrs I know of that do TOO MUCH research
You have to remember though that everything at Al’s toy barn at the end of Toy Story 2 was 1 buck.
I'm sure not EVERYTHING was a dollar. Boats, balls, simple stuff like that, makes sense to be only a dollar, but a complex action figure like Buzz Lightyear? If that was only a dollar, Al would go bankrupt.
Kaleb Levermore-Rich he already is
Aidan Bacon He missed out on a fortune with Woody. He never lost the toy store, so he's still in business, just nowhere near as rich as he wished.
Kaleb Levermore-Rich 🅱️

Actually, Andy won Alien Swirling Saucers from pizza planet, alongside the Dash N Doge coaster kit
I could also totally see the swirling saucers being novelty items from pizza planet, like sauce cups or drink holders or something.
The dash n dodge could be substituted for coasterdynamix
So then how much money did he spend on game tokens to win that stuff?
@@davidfeltheim2501 his mom probably spent it for him, but idk probably a lot, those cost in the tens of thousands of tickets, meaning that Andy's mom would've spent probably hundred(s) of dollars on tokens, yikes

Andy: "Reality can be whatever I want!"
I bet he got a second set of checkers for his birthday from his aunt, and she didn’t know he already had one.
Same with the etch- a sketch.
Honestly my theory is that the two Etch-a-Sketches are because he has a sister. And so they don't have to share, they each get one
So, its possible to make my own replica Toy Story land in my backyard....
Me: *_opens up Amazon and purchases everything in this video_* 😆

I like how if you listen closely you can hear Rob going insane from all the counting he did. 😂
This video is so lowkey shady (unlike toy story land) and I'm living for it
"...and lets be honest. It's LEGO. If we picked LEGO, the budget for this whole park would instantly triple." So true, Rob, so true!!
Alternatively titled, "A Quick Journey into the Implications of a Fictional Character's Financial Control Over His Own Mother".
Andy could have power over his mother...but here's another theory.
He maxed out his mom's credit card, then blamed it on Molly.
Or some of these toys are Molly's toys also.
Whatever floats your boat.
Yogee Bear or this are just mollys toys
Man, between this and Kingdom Hearts, the full Toy Story Canon is really damn weird.
BRANDON NGUYEN and broken bo peep as character you can take pictures with
@BRANDON NGUYEN Don't forget about the Toy Story segment of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.
Andy: mom, I built a toy amusement park
Mom: what did it cost
Andy: everything
That was the epitome of a Disney Dan idea with Rob Plays execution. That is why you guys make a good team.
Rob, the script for this video was very well written and you did a great job with your voice-over!! A standing ovation is in order!
Rob I totally like your wit in this video. You made me laugh at how you were talking about toy story land. Keep up the good work!!!

To be fair, some of those items used to construct TSL may have been Molly's. And Andy just "borrowed" them off her to build the park.
Rob, your dedication astounds me. Thanks for the great video. X
