- Hey thank you for watching our new vlog, we really hope you have enjoyed it
We created what we think is ‘our ideal’ camper conversion... all work has been completed by ourselves and we are so happy with the outcome.
We have filmed this tour as we are currently travelling from lands end to John o’groats and wanted to share this long awaited vlog with you! Please don’t mind the wind as we are currently sat on a cliff edge campsite so this isn’t avoidable always thank you for understanding
Let us know your thoughts of the second build of our nv200

Loved watching your van tour! We've just borrowed our daughter's nv200 minicamper for 10 days, so it's lovely to see what you've done with yours. Great live edge countertop too 😊
I love everything about your setup!
I just bought the same van in Cayenne Red a few days ago, and am looking forward to setting mine up!
Beautiful job guys!
Super impressed! Loved the design.
Looks great. Everytime I see a custom camper I get ideas for the one we're planning. That little shelf inside the cabinet door is genius👍. I also love the slab counter top😁 hopefully you get to use it with all the nonsense going on this year.
Using a beamer instead of houling a small TV. Great idea! :)
Brilliant conversion, enjoy your home on wheels!
Great van conversion,very inspiring.thank you 🙂
that bed is brilliant!
This is perfect for what i want.
I like that its basic and easy to use.
Do it!!
Got to say your conversion is one of the best I've seen. Most excellent work and an inspiration. Picking up a NV 200 tomorrow and now can't wait to get converting it.
Thank you so much! Means the world to know people love our conversion!
Ahh how exciting! If you have Instagram - tag us in photos we love to see what you do!
Great job on this conversion -it looks amazing, comfortable and you only carry what you need. Kudos! ❣️
Thank you! We love it 👌🏼
Thats a clever conversion in a small van. Well done guys given me some great ideas thanks
Ah! That’s brilliant! Exactly what we want to hear from people, hope your build goes well
What an awesome camper build! Well done! I'm thinking of buying a NV200 for my working and as a camper.
Great designs in there! I'm picking one of these up this week and been looking for cupboard/worktop ideas. Really like that!
Amazing! Thank you can’t wait to see what you end up doing! Tag us on Instagram if you have it
Enjoyed seeing your conversion.
Lovely video, enjoy your van. Love it
Very nice y’all did a great job.
Pretty good set up simple easy well thought out thank you for allowing me to watch enjoy
Thank you! Glad you liked it 😊
One of the best I’ve seen
Love your build, I want one 😍
Beautiful woodwork!
Well done Guys, lovely van!
We love using our NV200 to explore the Western US. Really nice build. Much nicer than ours.
Excellent conversion, you've packed a lot into that van!
Thank you!
Awesome... such a useful car .... cheers guys 👏👏👏👏👍
Nice job. Lovely woodwork and interior is so efficient.
Thank you! And yeah, it all works really well for such a small space 👌🏼
Your van is lush! I am loving the rustic vibe, your cupboards are gorgeous and it looks like you are using your space really well! Might pay to section off your battery just to protect it; so none of the other things you are storing with it can knock the connections, make a bridge or cause a fire hazard (can you tell i am a worrier!)
Hey! Thank you, we’re so happy with it and it feels so cozy 😊 and yeah, we need to! Just didn’t have time so for now electrical tape and tying the battery in place with a shoelace has had to do 😂 we know it’s not ideal but we were still fitting it at 10.30pm the night we left for our trip 🤦🏼♂️ thank you though! 🙏🏼
Very nice conversion, looks very neat, as well as a motor home ,I have a ex taxi NV200 combi with 192000 miles but still going strong, I've added blinds and use it as a dayvan, there compact but very usable, , well done good job!
We absolutely love ours! So versatile and for such a small van we have had so many amazing adventures, we nudged just over 100000 miles on our current trip 👌🏼
I'm making a camper now.
It was very helpful.
Thank you.
No problem! Enjoy building your camper!
Beautiful!
Nice one - a deciding between a Merc Citan and this Nisan NV200 - choices : ) I like the lay out : )
Gute Arbeit bei diesem Umbau - sieht cool und komfortabel aus
Awesome! Well done!!
Last clip in video looks amazing with the Sun setting
Thank you!!
This is the best build I have seen
Hey! That’s so kind of you! Thank you!
Really nice! Well done
Nice build. I like all the rustic wood feel of it. I have the same van but in the States, I only have a bed, and roof fan at the moment, but so much room for camping adventures without needing to pitch a tent. Great on gas and simple to drive. They’re used for NYC taxis for a reason. 🍻
Stay_Gold_B ah! Hey from UK!
it’s does have so much room for a small van! We love it so much, they are fab on fuel x
Wow you guys are so inspirational lovely video great job!! I have a vw t25 campervan 💕💕
Hey! Thank you so much!
That bed looks so comfortable that is the main reason I watch.
It is super comfy! thank you for watching!
Nice build.
I converted an NV200. Mine has a pop top, electric rock and roll bed, diesel heater, fridge etc. Great little campervans.
That’s amazing!!
Sounds brilliant
I have an NV 200 that’s a no build build but I love yours! Subscribed.
Thank you so much!
Welcome to the family!
Love the unusually shaped counter.
Yeah, it really helps with this sized van to allow a bit more space but not loose too much cupboard space 👌🏼
I think you have done a good job with that conversion. We have the same van and you have loads more storage than us 👍
The first build we did
Didn’t have enough storage but that’s why we decided to do the 2nd build!
Tag us in a photo of yours on Instagram x
very nice set up.
Thank you 😊
Love you conversion you guys have done a great job. Can I ask where was this camp site please? It looks amazing 😍
that looks awesome i have the same van but with a simple build inside
Epic! Thank you!
Bed is terrific.... battery nice & simple (charge via alternator?) Great projector idea.... thx for showing/far better than words. Seems very good... be nice to know of a good speaker to go with it & how much battery it requires (I think low power?). THX
Wow so lush!
Thank you! 🙏🏼
The conversion looks great guys!
How wide is the bed? I'd like to know if it's wide enough to fit two people or it's better to put the bed using the whole width of the van.
Thanks!
Also just ordered same canopy, they look brilliant
Best thing we’ve actually bought! It’s so handy!
@@Justuswandering Just got mine, can't wait to fit it
Love it
Awesome!
Great conversion, well done! Please can you let me know the size of your roof fan as I see it just about fits in between the ribs. I’ve been researching and everyone so far has said you can’t put a fan or marine hatch in the NV200 because of the ribs but clearly you can!
You have a great part of a house on wheels, I wish you a pleasant rest and fun.
I only have an Opel Vektre A car from 1991, but I am dreaming about something like your car, I greet Robin TV from Poland.
Im going to copy this build.
Awesome!! Van build - love the Industrial look to your cabinets, very inspiring using pallet wood.
Probably going to steal some of your ideas... :-D
I have only one suggestion, please, please - get a microphone wind protector - we REALLY want to hear what you have to say.
FYI - Also, on my list of techy things to buy too.
Thanks for sharing - that's a Like and Sub from me.
Amazing Sunset shot!
Cheers
Hey! Thank you so much glad you liked it!
We have a microphone but in this particular vlog we were filming on a cliff edge with only mobile phones sadly!
Thank you for the feedback and tag us in your Instagram If you have one !
the sun !!!!!!!!!
Really love your setup! very good inspiration! Can you tell me what its the model of that window on the ceiling? and how big its your bed? thanks!
Nice van conversion!!
May I ask where you bought that fridge? I need a similar one for my Nissan NV200.
Thanks! ;)
Love the new tour video, you have more gear then your last one, looks great. What size awning have you got is it 2m x 2m or 2m x 2.5m out extended . Looking forward to the next videos . 👍
Thank you! I think it’s the 2m by 2m one and it’s great! We’re currently leaving Cornwall heading for the NC500 so there should be more soon 👌🏼
Love your style!
I have the same van and I want to make some changes to it, I take yours as a model ! :) I was wondering what is the width of your bed , mine occupies the whole of the back and maybe yours will be so narrow ^^'
I will appreciate your thoughts about this theme.
I really like it and I hope you enjoy your travels !!
Pd: One last thing, could you let me know ehat type of battery and projector are you using? I've just loved the idea
Beautiful camper! I'm looking at getting an NV200 to convert, and wondered where you keep the spare tyre? Thanks!
Looks a really nice conversion, I’m looking at possibilities of NV200 campers, I know the standard van will fit my garage, can I ask how comfortable it is spending time inside with out a Poptop that so many fit to NV200’s ? Thanks 😊
Hi great conversion ,well done. Can you send the link for your awning ? Thanks doug
Very cool
You know only genius can customize the van yeah ,
Genius
Very nice
I was gonna buy a big sprinter but after watching your video I changed my mind.
That’s amazing!
We would definitely recommend getting a small camper! They are much more Stealthy!
@@Justuswandering yes I agree, easier to drive, less fuel and I wanna become a minimalist too
@@nothingreal8843 doooo it!!!!
Hi both, great conversion. We just bought our NV200 last weekend ready to convert. Where did you get your projector from please? Looked for the link but couldn't find it. xx
Hey! It was from cinelite
cine-lite.com
Nice conversion and awesome camper Park up,was it a payed Park up of free?
Thanks for sharing!
Hey, thank you! It was £10 a night, very basic site but so worth it 👌🏼
молодца все норма получилось..прикольно..у меня тоже NV 200 но не приспособлен но поездки люблю ..удачи вам..
Hey! Thank you so much
We appreciate your support
@@Justuswandering okei
Lovely guys. Very cool. My only query is the 3 bits that makes up the mattress as that means one of you is laying on the join?, why not a higher backrest? The roof vent does look really helpful. Where do you keep your clothes? Hope you both have many great adventures in your van :)
Hi
Thanks
We each have a cushion technically and even if we are lying on the join, it’s not uncomfortable and we don’t fall down it, the mattress is secure with the way we have designed it
We didn’t want higher back rests because it means the aesthetic of the van would look out of whack and with the L shape we only had enough of the mattress left for two thin slithers so this worked with our plan perfectly
In regards to clothes
It’s in the top part of the drawers system, we don’t carry much and if we need to use a a laundrette we do to keep things clean and tidy :)
Supper!!!!
Joli !
Excellent job, folks. You've really made good use of the space.
What's that material that you've used to line the sides & the roof with?
Cheers!
Hey! Thank you very much! We do love our tiny home!
And the roof and side walls are all lined with felt, I believe we brought it from eBay to be honest
Wouldn’t say we’ve done a professional job on it but we find it super comfy!
@@Justuswandering Thanks for the info. You really have done a great job. ... How do you find the NV200? Is it reliable for you? Easy enough to maintaine etc? Thanks!
@@rosstituteuk honestly … it’s amazing we love it and it’s the perfect size for me James and the dog,
Maintenance wise - we tend to do most servicing ourselves and it’s reliable!
@@Justuswandering excellent. really appreciate your reply and your insights. give my best to James & happy traveling
This is great and similar to what we are considering. My only question-do you have any cooking equipment i.e. stove?
We cook using the fold out equipment like you would for camping, as the van is small that’s just how we prefer it didn’t want to waste space for countertop by putting a hob in!
I just didn’t see where you store your fold out equipment and was curious because we’re interested in following your ideas.
@@marinawelch3964 absolutely!
So the food cooking equipment is kept in the left hand lower cupboard
We have the top one for clothes and then everything else is kept below
Love your build and your videos.
Honest feedback, please use better audio, you can record it separately( the wind and speaking so far away from the Mike makes it very difficult)
Again, love your build and the look and feel of the VAN.
Hi thank you for the comment
We do try to always consider the Audio, sometimes it’s not possible and in this particular vlog, we have apologised as the wind was horrific,
This is something we’re aiming to improve and always think we have done in our latest vlogs!
Thank you for all the love we appreciate it!
Hi guys. I love your build. It very well done I was thinking to make something similar myself. The only thing is that I'm quite a tall guy. How big is your bed? I will probably make it all the length and width. Wish you a lot of nice travels and adventures. Ciao
Hey thank you!
You should do it! It’s the best thing we’ve done!
We’re both around 5ft 7 5 ft 8 ish and take up the length of the van
Hope this helps!
@@Justuswandering thanks for your answer. I'll have to go and see one of these Nissan myself. And try to lay down in the back 🙂 see you
Thanks
Your welcome 🙏
Hi -- can you tell me about the headroom when sitting on the bench or sitting in bed? Can you sit straight up? (And how tall are you?) Thanks! Looking at vans for conversion.
Really neat conversion guys! Do you need to be careful using the awning on windy days? (Sounded a bit breezy!). We are new to vanning this year, and always wary the awning will catch the wind and get damaged. Just subbed 👍
Hey! Thank you
With the awning we went for it comes with guide ropes so you can still use it in windier conditions... we’ve never really had any issues to be honest
But always just judge it by the conditions on the day...
Do you have the same as us? 🤙🏼
@@Justuswandering It's similar, but bolted to the van (a T5). We do have awning straps and beefy pegs. Just not sure how far to trust them 😊
We just got our van. You inspire us!! We're looking for roof vents and would love to know what brand you have and where you found it. We haven't been able to find anything like it.
Hey! That’s amazing so glad we inspired you! What van did you go for?!
And yeah no problem our vent is the fiamma one 24x24 I think it is! Smallest one they do! Let me know if you can’t find it and I’ll look for you
@@Justuswandering We have the Nissan NV200. We looked at so many. We need a work van for a couple of years (we raise bees) so we'll be doing a modular build for the camping for now -- pieces that can come in and out. But in a couple years we'll do the full build.
I haven't been able to find the vent with a screen like the one you have. We're in the U.S. Shipping might make the Fiamma a bit pricey. I think we may have to just go to one of those crazy RV shows and see what they have.
@@nonabennett7776 www.fiammastore.com/Fiamma-Rooflights-and-Vents-for-caravans-and-motorhomes/Fiamma-Roof-Vent-28-F-and-Kit-Turbo-Vent-28-F
I believe this is our one xx
But I agree love the Camper shows!
Do you still have this campervan? Wondering if you can give me height of your bench/couch from floor to top of cushion. ty❣️
Lovely van. Would you say the awning is heavy duty and up to a battering? It's between that and an ARB and I can't decide.
Hey
Thank you!
We haven’t had any issues with it
We love that it comes with strengthening poles on either side and also guide ropes for when it’s heavy wind
We’ve had bad wind, snow and rain and it’s still in great condition!
So much so we ended up buying another for our defender!
Great work! i've just got myself an NV200 and plan to do the same layout. Where did you get the fridge from?
David MacAart we brought the fridge from Halfords! X
@@Justuswandering lol awesome! thanks :)
David MacAart sorry half message didn’t post- how exciting!
Tag us I. Photos on Instagram when you have built it we’d love to see!
@@Justuswandering I don't use social media but will do a little video and drop you a line on here, can't wait to get started but in the middle of moving house at the moment so probably wont get started until the new year. Take care of yourselves till then and keep up the good work! x
Looks good, what do you guys do for cooking, washing, and heating? Also what was the link to the projector, please.
Thank you
We use a 12v system now so can have a 12v heater and fan
And cooking wise we use portable cooking units so a gas can and cooker and we cook ontop of the work top
Or outside if warm
@@Justuswandering Could you please advise the link to the projector?
@@briancollis9352 cine-lite.com
Hi! Have you switched to a 12v roof fan now? Instead of the hatch? @Justuswandering
@@liamwarring4054 hi, nope still just the open hatch :)
Hi, the presentation give me very interesting tips. I'm a New-starter-man by free-camper and say hello
Not false understand, sorry, you both are very sweet 👍🏼🤠 unhappy , the vibrations of wind are to loud time to time 🤷♂️🤷♂️ anyway I hope to see very lot of vids from you. I mean, your tips are very useful for me. Atschö, Atschö 👍🏼🤠
Hey! Thank you for watching
We know the wind can be a bit of a pain but not much we can do to control this.. we do our best with the equipment we have!
Keep watching for more vlogs to come!
I just test drove an NV200 2021 - it didn't have an adjustable steering wheel - could this be right? It did not tilt, did not telescope.
That’s odd isn’t it!
Ours does have one
@@Justuswandering Nissan does not seem to offer an adjustable steering wheel in the US. Which would put it at a disadvantage compared to the Ford Transit Connect, which I also drove and has a nice driver environment.
Hi there, can you say what are those rims and where did you get them? Are those the 4-screw or 5-screw version? thank you !
Hey, they are just push on hub caps from EBay
How long is the back compartment? I’m looking at getting one but I’m 6’6 and dunno if I’ll fit in the back
Hey we’re both around 5,7 and we can lie comfortably in the back
Might be worth you going to a garage and lying in the back before you buy one !
Just us wandering; where do you shower & use toilet in lockdown ? Gyms & public toilets r closed
Hi
This vlog was taken outside of lockdown restrictions,
At current we are not travelling we are home.
Nice. How long is the bed that you dont need to put the seats forward?
It’s a small Double mattress size inside the back
Did you have to drill into the roof bars to fit the side awning?
Yeah just a couple of holes into the bars and bolts going through 🤞
How do you cook? Do you have a water reservoir? Sorry if this got answered already.
That’s no problem, we cook using a comping stove, the small kind where you twist onto a gas bottle
And water we use a 15L Jerry can perfect for our needs!
@@Justuswandering On nice, I just didn't see that part in the video. That would be the perfect size for that beautiful counter.
Did you guys build the shelf, and dresser yourself?
We did! All made from pallet wood, square edge wood (b&q) and live edge !
Just curious - rough estimate of build?? : )
Hey! This took us 4 weekends in total!
Checkout our story highlights on Instagram
And I am back your Canopy where did you get that from rather have it fastened onto me roof rack then I do actual van
A company called direct 4x4 they have their own website and sell through eBay too
Think you could live in it full time traveling a large place America?
Hey!
The longest we have done is around 3 weeks
Which was comfortable to be fair! I think we could but would maybe need to keep getting organised if that makes sense
Be strict on like keeping it all clean to make it a nice place to be
nice touch on the wood work. But I think it would be much more enjoyable to watch if the sun wasn't in my eyes and I could see what she is showing.
