I have Love for most other manufactures, But Rapido is absolutely my mumber one model train manufacture. Everything about their models just speak to me, they're just so crisp, tight, scale and high quality that they speak to me more than others. I also really dig the personnel in the way they handle themselves and their business!! Thanks for the cool video.
Totally agree!! I had a chance to meet Jason, Jordan, and Chris during their bus tour this summer, and they're just as fun in person, just a great group of people. I've had good experiences so far with their support team as well. Glad you enjoyed!
Rapido is great
I can’t understand why Scaletrains does not bring SD40-2 of the class1 RR like UP/NS in h0 again. They offered some runs lately but always some smaller local lines and it seems they do not sell that well, as they are everywhere still available.
Meanwhile I wait for UP/NS
Agreed. And I'm sure the class 1's would sell out quick too, I know other people waiting for those that would absolutely buy them all
Yes, the Atlas headlights have been Yellow in my opinion, on some of their latest locomotive releases. I don't mean Sunny white either, like I like and prefer, but outright yellow!! Who knows why? Some of the ditch lights on later Atlas offerings have a a strong blue hue to them as well.
I was lucky to test out an MP-36 at Lombard Hobbies to discover the very blue headlights. Not a fan, I've seen the real ones enough to know they should definitely be more sunny white as you say. Honestly, it shouldn't have been that hard for them to start off with the correct light color

Same thing with Rapido and ScaleTrains both doing GP40s within a few months of each other!
