If drdo can achieve near 300km range for this 300mm rocket upgrade along with Precision targeting like Himars, well then that would be an absolutely fearful low cost ballistic missile grade Solution for sustained battlefield targeting power against any enemy. This really will be a strategic battlefield asset and will definitely be a EXPORT HIT too.

Mark 3 will mean Skardu smoked in event of war with Bakis and escalation will mean Lahore, Rawalpindi, Karachi all gone and 300 m will mean Peshawar and Quetta too

America me Darpa bhi yhi karti h khud technologies par reserch karke private sector se banwati h, iska asan tarika h ki govt research funds khud uthaye fir jab products ready ho jaye or jise production partner banaya ja rha h usse har piece par Ek certain amount of Royalty laga kar le le isse dono kaam ho jayenge other than GST to milega hi .

I remember the time when India was struggling with missiles like Prithvi, Akash, Nag and Trishul and rockets like Pinaka. These days, the labs are churning out and commissioning such projects faster than you can name them.

Striking Range should be higher in todays context, and DRDO is much serious than private companies, we need quick response by companies, but they are taking time to implement plans. It's better to let DRDO handle what they want to make alone and what in joint.

A 300mm rocket (vs a 214mm rocket) will not only carry more fuel, it will (or at least could) also carry a bigger warhead. A modular rocket should be developed where one could trade warhead size for range (or vice versa).
