The dialog lines at 8:42 gave me chills. It sounds like Larry is going through a dark initiation ritual.
Also see carefully in 7:45. You can see from the radar that the player's plane is drifted miles and degrees away from initial position.
It's not drifted. It's because the player is near the target, as always when the radar is on fire range with the target, it always zoom in.
The level where the player knows true fear.

the reason why only 12,000 People were killed is because the nukes were placed in factories,mines and farms and thy're goal wasn't to commit Hari-kiri but rather to do "scorched earth" in other-words if there going down there going to take as many Enemy troops as possible with them they failed however and as such thy're efforts were in vain.
The explanation given in 5 is that the nukes were used to create a radioactive barrier that allied forces couldn't get through. It wasn't to kill the allies, it was to stop them from getting into North Belka.
This whole mission was just melancholy. I teared up on my first playthrough.
What's Pixy doing? Betraying Cipher? But later...
You've never played Ace Combat Zero huh? I would get it and the other Ace Combat's before it cause they're awesome.

The mission that set the stage of Ace Combat 5....it's sad to see how Belka went to a scorched earth phase...and all they did was kill not only the allies but innocents that loved their land...in the end it's scary that some Belkans that lived through that STILL loved their government.

When i do this mission, right after the nukes go off, an enemy plane appears on radar in the far northwest corner, zoomed all the way out outside of operation zone. Nobody else seems to have figured this out or noticed?

Missions 11 and 12 of this game are the darkest in the entire Ace Combat series. They are both pure nightmare fuel.

Having played Ace Combat 5, I knew when I first played this game that there was a good chance this event would show up. I suspected this was the mission when I saw the name of the mission. Then the mission loaded up, and I saw Steir Castle. :( yup, this is where the infamous nuke attack happens.
This part if the game was trippy af I miss when games were like this

Uma curiosidade sobre Ace Combat Zero é que algumas dessas missões são baseadas em conflitos reais. A Missão 11 "The Inferno" foi baseada no bombardeio de Dresden na Segunda Guerra Mundial. Essa missão 12, é baseada nos ataques nucleares em Hiroshima e Nagasaki.

I actually likes Ace combats, including this, but I still don't understand why Pixy is betraying. Can someone tell me pls?
He was a mercenary, he basically fought for money, but after seeing all the disgrace that this war was bringing all the casualties and suffering he decide to join in a terrorist group who wanted to end this and all future wars by causing an apocalypse on earth using a massive nuke blow making all nations become one or simply disappearing with the conception of nation. If there is no nation there is no war between them, That’s why. Cipher would also be a huge problem to execution of the plan, so he decided to take advantage of the moment kill him.
