@@TheBeardedCarpenter I got into scroll work when I turned seventeen. One of the big reasons I did was because my health failed on me at that young age. My immune system was shot. I had to even stop going to school for a year because I simply was to weak to walk down the halls or even sit up for long periods. I could however do a little scroll work here and there. I eventually had to leave home and live with my grandfather for a while where things were still and quiet. My healing from the Lord Jesus began their. The lord revealed to me at my grandfathers that he was going to help me go back to school and I would be preaching at the school my senior year. This I did by the help of the Lord. I received my diploma, had perfect attendance to the glory of God, and preached at the flag pole most of that whole school year. If it wasn't for Jesus that would of never happened. I thank God for his goodness and mercy to me. Glory to his holy name!!! That was way back between the years of 2000 and 2001. I'm forty one years old now. For the past five years, the Lord has given me the chance to get some land and build a log cabin on it, which is one of the reasons I often watch your videos ( I learn a lot from your fine work). Howdy James- I sure appreciate your kind words. Yeah, I’ve seen some carpentry work that could use some improvement. Thank you for the holiday wishes and I hope you have a great Thanksgiving as well. God’s blessings to y’all

Paul, you do great work, i wish you lived close to me in western NC. How was the cabin roof insulated since you can still see the rafters & sheating boards from inside? Also, i like your hat, what name brand is it? Thanks

Howdy y’all- western North Carolina is a beautiful place. The roof has a secondary roof over the exsposed decking. The roof is insulated between the rafters that aren’t visible. I’ve had several comments on that old hat. I’ve had it for years. It’s a Thorough Bred 7x that I bought at a men’ clothing store that went out of business a long time ago. God bless
