Great advise, I just did my 05 Montego, I followed advise from someone else on throttle body relearn but it mess it up... for the Montegos all you need to do is clean it up and, put it back it and run on for 10 minutes... it's going to learn for itself.
+V Mari LOL Sorry, I made it for my daughter since she has the same model. We done this on her's when we purchased it but it needed it done again and she needed a refresher is why I made and posted it. As a note to reprogram the computer quicker. I was told to remover the positive battery cable. Then after cleaning replace it. Start it let it idle for about 10 minutes then drive it normally for about 5 minutes at 35mph then goto 55-65mph highway speed for another 5 to 10 minutes. The computer should calibrate itself to the cleaned throttle body. It only has 4 bolts and the removal of the intake hose to clean it. Replace it all afterwards and your good to go. I hope this helps. Regards, Michael

Does the Montego really learn for itself?
Thank you so much Michael. Please post more vids on the Five Hundred.
I just did what you said , mine is a 2007 ford fivehundred,it had the black gum inside like yours ,cleaned it,hope it works..thanks for the video!!
Clint East did it work?
thanks for the great tutorial just finished mine i see a difference in the sluggish and stalling
Instead of waiting 400 miles for it re-learn, you can take it to the dealership to get the throttle body programmed
hold the phone sideways next time
Do you need to recalibrate after or works straight away.
Herb is that toothbrush approved by the American dental association?
Thanks for the video! Absolutely informational. What did you mean by "it'll run like crap for about 400 miles"?
Until the computer re-learns the idle points with the clean throttle body.
So do just heft to clean the throttle body to get it back to working properly when it completely stop or do you just heft to replace it all together
Wish we could see what you're doing the whole time. Camera aim is not so good.
