I bought the X-E version and I was missing the extra digit of resolution on a regular basis. As I result, I also purchased the X version. So I did not really save $150 but instead cost myself $400. Fortunately, I have a use for the X-E version. My advice is that make sure you don’t need that extra digit. On both units, I have to say I am very pleased with them and I would buy the X version again. Also, the remote control using the Ethernet port works as advertised. (I did not use Siglent’s software but I wrote my own software for a PC.)
I thought I'd share this with you. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statcoulomb 1 statC = dyn^1/2 cm = cm^3/2 g^1/2 s^−1. => SQUARE IT: (1 statC)^2 = dyn cm = cm^3 g^1 s^−2 = (cm^3 s^−1)(g^1 s^−1). Yes that's it...SO simple! Charge= Geometric mean of volume and mass flows.
