- We are back just in time for Season 3 of Bridgerton on Netflix! To celebrate, we are sewing a Featherington Ball Gown using Simplicity 9434 in a stunning sage green satin with an embroidered tulle overlay.
This project was so much fun and despite a mishap right at the end, it was a fantastic way to ease myself back into filming after a much needed mental health break. I have missed you all so much and can't wait to get back into the swing of things.

Just a little side note: In the books, Penelope's mother is the one with the bad fashion taste, not Penelope. Once her mother is convinced Penelope is on the shelf and leaves her alone, Penelope's fashions suit her much better.
The pattern ahouldve given you a giant puff aleeve, to allow for mobility. The modern sleeves put too much pressure on the zip. Also, why these would've had ties only on bodice back, not the skirt, to allow extra movwment.
