Thanks for the video, very helpful. If quilting with letters, won't it be backwards on one side of the quilt? Do you choose the top or underneath of the quilt to look correct?
Yes the words are backwards on the back of the quilt, but my grandson still loved his name all over it. Because of the way the letters are kind of jumbled up it is not real noticeable.

Ah, thanks. I was thinking of this technique for my grands, I think I'll make the names and then flip so it's both ways.
