Love hearing the subtle hint of rage behind Glam's voice in that final line. He's staying calm in front of the kids and Ches, but internally he's so mad.
Totally calm before a storm, he can mask his emotions and it becomes frightening. He can scare his own kids it is funny to watch. Dee is truly frightened now

Heavy - window, which means its openness

Ches - a broken guitar and other junk, this suggests that as a child he stole a lot
Dee - the light bulb burning in the corridor, speaks of its closeness and sadism!

There seem to be alot about dee we don't know about
They're speaking in code. Glam is telling Dee that he's suspicious that Dee is bluffing and then Dee tells him adults would be smarter at hiding their emotions than kids would be. Glam is correct that Dee is bluffing (which is why he folds) and also agrees with Dee that an adult would be smarter at hiding their emotion.

I love Glam’s VA. He sounds like he’s about to snap, but at the same time, he sounds so composed.
I really like how Glam always seems to maintain that calm composure, especially when handling his kids and Vicky’s temper.

I love how Dee always knows when to duck out of his mom's way.
I love how Chive's fold at the beginning shows his general attitude. He had two aces, which taking the river into account, would have given him a full house with an ace kicker. Only things that would beat that were a four of a kind and a royal/straight flush. Chive literally could not give less of a shit if you PAID him.
I love how both Glam and Dee are bluffing the shit out of their plays because Victoria had the third 2 and the fourth 7.

I love the fact that Heavy's voice has a unique kind of cuteness in both Russian and English versions.
He is pretty sweet natured. In Episode 8 he's genuinely concerned for people who lose the last of their money through gambling.

So just a note, one item was lost in translation, it's called a ddos attack (pronounced Dee-doss.) It's understandable, your VA is a native speaker, not a computer guy. Dos (pronounced Doss) is an old computer language. Ddos is a hacker attack, stands for "distributed denial of service." Dee is suggesting a hacker broke into their home network to use it as a proxy for a ddos attack. Glam is sarcastically agreeing that yes, a hacker broke into their home network and used an expensive program just to ddos sites he happens to have placed a parental lock on.
Dee folds when he realizes just how stupid that sounds.

I think you might be wrong here, an attack like this is only a D.D.O.S. if it was done through several servers/clients, where if it is done through only one server/client, then it is just a denial of service attack, since there's only one client it isn't actually distributed, making it only a D.O.S. attack.
Also Dos was an operating system, not a programming language
@@_underscore_9271 Fair point about ddos. The reason I assumed they meant DDOS was because I watched the original version, where they used ddos in the subs.
I know it was an OS. I was dumbing it down. They'd only ever see a dos interface through dosbox.
The dad is my favorite character in this series, I love how calm he is but also completely menacing like when dad gets angry even mom will be scared, those are the vibes I was getting from him and I love it

As someone who learned to play Texas Hold’em at age 6, Vicky’s rage at that first round was SOOOOOO understandable!
Fun fact, if you look at Chive's cards when he says he's throwing pocket aces, he's actually doing it. If you manage to pause in time, he's throwing down the ace of clubs and ace of spades.
Because of this amount of Russians writing comments in English, it's hard to understand how many real foreigners do watch this cartoon. I hope soon there'll be more people from other countries
Often you can guess by the nickname, comments below and, maybe, videos on their channel.
But if they can blend so well, it's good in something. For example, native speakers will feel themselves more comforting, I think.
Also it shows us how good our country(and some of near-placed) in English, isn't it?

OK, Chive/Ches voice acting is spot on. Really great and very close to original. Heavy and Vicky are cool too. Glam and Dee sound better in original Russian version. Hopefully this will improve with new episodes.

I love shows where they put their characters in a regular game like this, it shows the characters personalities perfectly, makes them intimidating when need be shows other hidden attributes and shows what the characters are capable at their best without pushing too hard, jojo does this aswell with Darby v jotaro being one of the best fights in the series in my opinion. And Beetle tendency with jojolion.

Things I've noticed from this episode:
-Chive has a thing for older women which could stem from his childhood trauma and his seemingly neglectful mother
-When glam and Dee are talking about software Dee cut off his own sentence to avoid saying "youngster" like how his father did? It seems Dee is trying to avoid being like his dad
-When Victoria had some good cards she seemed to fail at masking the excellent of them, meaning she probably is very bad at keeping secrets and seem to not be a good liar

A music video about the background of this family, it came out before the first episode. Highly recommend watching if you haven't seen it yet. Because it is only on the original channel.
