Thank you so much! I had viewed so many other videos that had a different sequence to enter setup that did not work on my G4010. I was starting to consider a new unit when I came across yours.
Your sequence worked for me and I’m back in action. I do have to change the ink waste pads as they were full.
This video helped me get my PIXMA G4411 sorted after many failed attempts. In SA we say danko is thank you!

Great help! Thank you! Does the waste ink pad really need to be cleaned/ changed after one 100% cycle or will it last a second cycle up to 100%? Already thank you guys
If it's the first time you reset your printer then there's no need to worry otherwise if you have already reset your printer twice the 100% cycle then you have to clean and replace the waste ink pad at the back of your printer

Many thanks for your kind help. My printer is failing to print in black. Prints in all other colors fine. Black ink is well topped up. Not genuine Canon ink, could that be the issue?

Hi This does not seem to work on my G6050 with 1700 code. After putting into service mode when I press stop 3 times and power 1 time it just shuts down ? Is the G6050 different?
G6050 is totally different and the method in this video will not work on that printer model. The method is intended for G4000 series only
