I honestly don't think The Warning's songs connect much with you because they are more of a classic pop rock group with certain 90s alternative influences..... but a song that could definitely attract you is QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE LIVE METROPOLITAN THEATER, which is the "hardest" song they have and has a metal feel. And Disciple which is fantastic live where the drummer sings half of the song. The Warning has a very difficult fandom because they only want to hear blind praise for the band, but I want to CONGRATULATE you for being one of the few honest UA-camrs who has genuine and sincere reactions, and does not exaggerate to gain an audience. Your reactions are very funny and natural, never change that. For metalheads it's good to take a break and listen to a good pop rock band from time to time, that's why Foo Fighters are very loved ha ha ha. In addition, The Warning can make very good rock for the radio and rock will increases their popularity. I recommend you a reaction to the Japanese female band Nemophilia, which is pure metal and is more in line with your tastes. Well most of the stuff you said is absolutely true. I'm a metalhead, but I really like to go out of my comfort zone (especially when it comes to music) and I definitely wouldn't say that The Warning doesn't connect with me :DD Of course it's more of a hit or miss situation with me, when it comes to listening to new rock bands, but so far I liked 2 songs out of 3, so I feel pretty good about them and also as a musician, I learned to enjoy many things about music, even when it's not my cup of tea :DD Thanks for the recommendations and also the kind words. I'm glad you like my reactions! I haven't heard many song from Sleep Token and I'm probably not going to, because if there is a modern metal band I haven't connected with at all, it's them 😅😅 I feel like they are trying to be way too serious and I don't really believe them :DD It just doesn't feel genuine to me when I compare it to a band like Gojira (my favorite band) who write songs about nature and how we should treat our planet and you can just tell, that they are using their platform to make a difference in this world. Although most agree that there is something false about them. Gojira is on another level completely, they are legends that deserve even more recognition. Gojira and Mastodon are underrated!. How great to know that it's your favorite band. @@nicolaswutzmusic I must say, that I don't really understand, why people often try to emphasise, that they aren't a metal band. It is true, that they do not define themselves as metal, however, I think their music is much closer to classic metal bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Scorpions, Ozzy, Dio etc. than classic rock acts like Foreigner, Status Quo, Toto, Bryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen, Rolling Stones or Huey Lewis and the News. This is also the reason, why they fit in so well with metal festivals. This whole positive aggression, catchy but driving melodies and fun attitude on stage is so typical for eighties metal.
Well there is not that big of a difference in sound between classic metal and hard rock and I think they are more pretty much that, so when I say rock band I mean hard rock (I know, it's confusing :DD) but I kind of grew up on hard rock like Gunn n' Roses and ACDC , so I see them more as that, but I agree, that even in their stage presence there's a certain level of aggression, that puts them on the edge between rock and metal ;))

There's an instrumental/no vocals mix of MORE by Guimo, it's like a metal sound track for a sci-fi vid game. One thing I like about TW, some of their songs evolve real time. You just witnessed the drummer Pau’s ‘scream of destruction’! Hi Nicolas, The Warning’s appearance at the MTV VMA resulted in adding to the history of the band. Performers were given up to three takes(?), The Warning nailed their two songs (Evolve, More) on the first take. Only about three people in the audience knew who they were. After they finished they captured more fans, including the show’s director, overheard saying, “Holy S--! I’m a fan!”. The most popular description of their performance here: They blew the roof off the place! They did look like they had fun. They always do. There is a small moment near the end of the song where Pau the drummer and Ale the bassist look at each other as if letting each other know how much fun they are having!
One of the nice things about this version is that MTV mixed Ale's vocal mic higher than it usually is, so you can hear a better mix of their "sibling magic" harmonies!

this was such a huge and powerful exhibition they gave with the short time they were given... they performed two songs, *More* (done first) and this one, *Evolve* which is certainly a fan favorite... Pau (drums) came up with *Evolve* after watching a documentary about evolution and gene manipulation... this isn't the first time she has drawn inspiration from a TV show or movie, either... i understand that MTV is still looking for their roof LOL i'm quite proud and happy for DPA/TW for making these milestone appearances at two MTV functions, the MIAW in CDMX (back in Aug 2023) and the VMAs in NY&NJ (Extended Stage) (in Sep 2023)... three additional milestones for their VMA appearance are 1) they are the first Mexican band to perform at the VMAs, 2) they were invited to perform, 3) they were not nominated for anything... those speak volumes in a great and huge way! now add to that they have been doing this for 10 years... most of that was while independent... i would also be remiss if i didn't mention that this performance was real unlike the other groups that also performed here... DPA/TW did both of their songs fully live and in one take each while the other performers lip synced and took all three allowed takes... the ""best"" of those takes was selected for airplay... DPA/TW were also the only ones to be announced on the main stage when it was time to present their performances... watching Pau (drums) firing her *_"Scream of Evolution"_* toward the heavens releasing all of her frustrations and pain so she can *Evolve* and grow past them is always a treat 😜 she has described the scream she does in *Evolve* in similar fashion and she brings it for real each and every time they present this hard rocking power ballad in concert or live sessions... Pau has also stated that playing here on this stage was a very _surreal moment_ ... she said the stage was very much like the stage in the game Rock Band... i can easily see that they might have felt as if they had been transported into the game... i'm sure they imagined similar when they were playing the game as children and just beginning to find their path in life pre-2012 or so... in Aug 2023 they celebrated their 10th Anniversary as a band... i can't wait to see what the future bring to them! But that entire concert is superb on so many levels, so you can't really go wrong with anything you choose from it. I liked your reaction to Dust to Dust, but this got me to Sub - look forward to your future reactions, and if you don't like something, don't be scared to say so (art is subjective, so there are bound to be some things you won't like/enjoy, and some things you really love, that I think are lacking - but its really really hard to actually find unless you want to be really really picky and watching them live makes that really really really hard to do because of their energy, their stage presence, their instrumentals, and their vocals :) )

They have a formidable innate talent, each one of them. Innate but with practice taken to the sublime. Despite their youth, they already have a lot of experience along the way in addition to their great preparation since they were little girls. Their attitude, discipline and willingness to achieve their goals are leading them to great and well-deserved achievements. Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra are still on the path to the top, but with too much potential, enough to think that reaching it will be inevitable. Furthermore, the volume of quality that each of their creations implies is great… and the number of songs that carry said quality is enormous, which for me could be “The Warning label.” I’m sure that each of their creations is subjected to a meticulous quality process before finally seeing the light… And not only in the technical aspect, but they have also already shown that they have an exquisite taste for the good music that emanates from them when they become inspired and creative. Added to all this is that they are surrounded by an excellent family and a fraternal team totally committed to their project... And they have a fan base, “The Warning Army”, tremendously loyal to them (and exponentially growing too) that is decisively involved in supporting them because they have deservedly earned it for being incredible and surprising human beings. Knowing this will give you a much better perspective to better value DPA, and maybe you will understand that TW is not just a band of talented young women who make good songs... No, it’s about music, really about art with the brilliance of a "masterpiece" created and performed by three genius female performers from an early age who have been developing and evolving by leaps and bounds. Allways everybody have to appreciate each of these amazing rock masterpieces in all their dimensions and then be surprised again that they are creations of those who have wonderful talent but who, due to their age, still have much more talent to develop. So many are out of the loop, MTV is owned my Paramount and some of their streaming services have 6 or 7 MTV channels that play Music 24/7. The Warning, Plush Dorothy Halestorm, to name a few all have videos in regular rotation on these channels.
Nicolas you've been Warned. They have the the best live presentation of any band I've seen their energy and audience engagement are amazing they play for and love their fans. Evolve is my favorite song from them and Pau's Scream on the bridge is epic. The story of how the band came to be when they started at very young ages and for the last 10 years have risen to a headlining band is incredible. Theirs no band like The Warning out their they are incredible and are going to go far. Also defiantly listen to their new single's for the upcoming album, Sick, Hell you Call a Dream and Qué Más Quieres they just keep getting better.

A banging performance these ladies are badass rockers best seen live. Check out Teatro Met 2022 live show it was pro shot and has 22 awesome songs. Disciple is great the drummer shares lead vocals or Queen of the Murder Scene for a heavier style.. Both are really great songs with lots of energy. The beauty of their art lies in its simplicity.
Allways everybody have to appreciate each of these amazing rock masterpieces in all their dimensions and then be surprised again that they are creations of those who have wonderful talent but who, due to their age, still have much more talent to develop.
Dany, Pau & Ale are already admirable but their potential increases exponentially as they achieve success.
As long as all this continues to flow with this equation, soon they will reach the top of the world where they deserve to be.

You are one of the few that got the "scream look". You've been Pau'd!
So many are out of the loop, MTV is owned my Paramount and some of their streaming services have 6 or 7 MTV channels that play Music 24/7. The Warning, Plush Dorothy Halestorm, to name a few all have videos in regular rotation on these channels.

Nicolas you've been Warned. They have the the best live presentation of any band I've seen their energy and audience engagement are amazing they play for and love their fans. Evolve is my favorite song from them and Pau's Scream on the bridge is epic. The story of how the band came to be when they started at very young ages and for the last 10 years have risen to a headlining band is incredible. Theirs no band like The Warning out their they are incredible and are going to go far. Also defiantly listen to their new single's for the upcoming album, Sick, Hell you Call a Dream and Qué Más Quieres they just keep getting better.

A banging performance these ladies are badass rockers best seen live. Check out Teatro Met 2022 live show it was pro shot and has 22 awesome songs. Disciple is great the drummer shares lead vocals or Queen of the Murder Scene for a heavier style.. Both are really great songs with lots of energy.
