    Superb truck so far; handles and performs well. I've owned a Chevy Colorado and Ford F150, nothing against those brands and came very close to buying a Dodge Rebel. I wanted something different and decided to give Nissan a try; great warranty, styling, quality. Built here in the US; I think it's an underrated truck and I'm happy with it.

    Love how the vehicle’s come with jumper cables & other much needed goodie’s.

    I have the exact truck in a 2021 model spec’ed the exact way as your tester and I love it. Only thing I don’t understand is my truck has a yellow sticker saying it’s payload is reduced by another 145 lbs but I have no other options that yours doesn’t have. I actually don’t even have the tow mirrors which I assume are heavier. Could never figure out why as it has no dealer added options either. All factory and listed on the Monroney.
    I tow a 5,000 lb gvwr wolf pup 17JG and it does great. While other trucks can theoretically tow more, not really sure you should with a half ton.

    I’ve had the 2021 for almost a year now. I love everything about the truck except the bed size. I have a crew cab and the bed is not big enough. I sold my 2019 GMC crew cab with Duramax and bought the Nissan. The Nissan is far less maintenance. The Nissan cab is much bigger and more comfortable with more options. Unfortunately I may have to trade out of it for a bigger bed. I’ve always owned GMs and usually sell them or trade them every 3 years. The Nissan Titan has been one of my favorite trucks and I have owned 9 brand new trucks. The 400hp match with the 9speed Mercedes transmission is more power than the truck needs.

Isuzu truck one of the best outhere, Mitsubishi Triton, and also Nissan frontier (Navarro) overseas it is sold in diesel engines plus land rover defender truck edition, Volkswagen Amarok, this one's are pretty much bullet proof and all can go through anything you can look on UA-cam truck gallery channel.

    agree. a very good vehicle overall. many great features. a truck by and for people who know and need a proper truck; not a cowboy caddy. very under rated. tow and pay loads are not exaggerated, as the big 3 do. agree, towing 6000# should be optimum and safe in all conditions. for this class, if people want more towing #, they should step up to the XD. Nissan has the best seats: uber important for long trips. the last of the V8s, and this is an excellent engine for power and durability. my only frown is the engine is GDI, not DPI. so, can expect to clean the valves say for every 50k miles. but this engine has no turbos, so can expect this engine to last 200k miles. but for the GDI, everything about this truck is done for quality and reliability. real truckers prefer an aspirated V8, so I hope this truck sells big time.

    The adjustable headlights alone make this truck the best in the freaking world! Between all these non-truck guys getting "leveling kits" and others hauling or towing all the time, the retinas in my eyes are seared every night I'm out driving! I say non-truck guys because the "leveling kit" makes the truck sit higher in the front than back and they don't even know how to manually adjust the headlights back down. Ok, rant over.
    This whole half-ton towing war is silly. On paper, a truck can say whatever it wants....10k...12K..13K towing...why not. Maybe if you live in flatland USA at sea-level, but not in the mountain west at altitude. I'd never tow more than 8500lbs with a half-ton, no matter what the specs say. The term tail wagging the dog comes to mind or white knuckle driving. It's not a problem of power, it's a problem of frame strength, suspension strength, brakes, engine/tranny cooling, the tranny strength, weight of the tow vehicle, E-rated tires, wheelbase of the tow vehicle, payload, and axle ratio. I'd rather tow with a Titan XD than any other basic half-ton. However, I have a 2013 F150 HD, which is a unicorn truck! Ford used to make F150 HD's, you can spot one by looking at the wheels, because they will have 7 lugs, not 6.

    This guy just called an f450 a reliable truck? Is it not going through a massive recall? It may have been reliable to you but to most that isn't correct. Especially when you get into the nitty gritty of looking at the recall list of the HD Ford trucks

    • @ronhayes832
      @ronhayes832 2 роки тому +1

      The recall on Ford Super Duty is for GAS engines with aluminum drive shafts. The concern is for a mount that may affect the drive shaft. Diesel trucks are not affected by this recall. JD’s F450 is a diesel.

    • @OOMAN
      @OOMAN 2 роки тому

      I've had my 2019 F-450 for over 40k miles, and it hasn't had to go back to the dealer for anything other than a recall on the tailgate latch, recall on the seat belt tensioner, and a once-over before the bumper to bumper expired. Hauled my 20k/46' toy hauler from Shitcago to Florida twice, and haul my 24k flatbed for work regularly, so it's really being used in the real world. I would call that pretty reliable, just like my old F-350 that only went to the dealer once in 200k miles. Every manufacturer will turn out a lemon now and then, shit happens, but I believe most of the "problems" are from idiots not doing their preventive maintenance and taking care of their shit. I was always a Chevy/Pontiac/Oldsmobile guy, and have owned Chevy & Dodge trucks, so I'm not a brand loyal moron. Never intended to buy a Ford in the first place, but after owning my first Super Duty, no other brand has given me a reason to change back, and Ford has never given me a reason to not buy another one.
