I pulled larry wheels a few years back and knew he made massive strides in progress, so leonidas beating him was no joke. Leonidas is definitely the real deal and I was the only one who had him winning over schoolboy at my practice haha
I'm surprised at how little people thought Leo would win I had him as well seeing how he dismantled Larry so easily
Yeah, Leonidas’ progress was insane! He definitely has more talent for this sport than Larry.
@@EastsideArmWrestling some guys just have it naturally,like Khaled and Leonidas. And some other guys just dont have it like Larry and Sarychev
@@EastsideArmWrestlingDisagree personally. Larry hasn’t ever fully committed to arm wrestling since he started, he’s generally gone halfway since he juggles that, powerlifting, bodybuilding, etc. for his content. He has all of the potential in the world but has to focus his efforts on keeping his channel alive so he can’t fully commit unfortunately.

Totally man, I love Auden and all, but I feel there’s something fundamentally different about watching a match between 2 proven pros compared to a celebrity death match.
Maybe that’s the biased armwrestling purist in me talking, but even though I want arm wrestling growth, I’d still like for the sport to stay as true to itself as possible.
I hope there is a lively fan crowd. Im tired of these rich dubai robots sitting there not giving a damn

I think Ryan is going to surprise more than one. I have been watching his recently lifts and since his loss to Ron Bath he has improved substantially in his training and technique. His static pronation lifts and in my opinion more difficult execution than Devon's because he lifts just by gripping the strap with the strength of his fingers and lifts weights above his waist with 50-60kgs without lose his pronacion, wrist and bicep is quite impressive. I know that those lifts will translate on the table and with his new KM, if he wins I think it will be brutal. However, SB has the favoritism to win but by a smaller margin.
Yeah, I do agree with you on that point about the KM - Ryan’s got a bloody good sticking point and we’ve seen Schoolboy’s wrist flexion being compromised before.
That being said, I still believe SB is the favorite going into this. We’ll see if the power levels are close enough for this.

Yes! Especially in this day and age, there has to be a place for these pop matches as well, but I also appreciate the fact when bona fide top athletes in the sport make the effort to make themselves marketable (e.g. Ryan).

I think stylistically, Ryan had a better chance again SB than Mike. But based on how Ryan did vs Baek, I believe Mike is the slight favorite vs Ryan right now.
the only armwrestlers i dislike is davit, kamil, and ryan BUT i will have to admit that ryan is looking big and i think hes actually got a shot. :(
