I dont understand how it is secured to the trailer. Does the ‘underbar’ somehow attach to the trailer frame? Im actually wanting to secure this to the underside of a vehicle that will never move, I’m wondering if its possible to reverse it so the battery bottom sits on the battery shackle top, and the underpart secures to the wheel axles of the broken truck used as a solar shed.

There is a crossbar that is wider than the metal rack base that the batteries sit in, so that keeps from being able to pull the shackle up while the top piece of the shackle covers the battery from the top and locks into the lower piece, keeping everything stationary on the trailer frame. Might need pictures of your project to understand whether it will work for your application, but would also be easy to drill some additional holes into the metal shackle if needing to drive some hardware through it to secure it to the vehicle.

If anyone wants it bad enough they will cut the lock easy.

You're absolutely right! Most thieves are opportunistic though and this is a great deterrent and adds peace of mind. Thanks for checking out our video!

@@TwoNerdEFamilies you should make the pad lock inside of a metal box you need to unlock with a key that way you need a plasma cutter to get at anything its a good idea you have but its more of a peace of mind then anything else.

Agreed, and this is a good idea we will pass along to the manufacturer to consider for future enhancement. Thanks for your comments!
