I don’t own any Chanel bags but I’d say yes. The price difference between each other is huge, especially with the price increase. I think this mini is more bang for your buck :D
I was originally going to suggest to go for the Medium Classic Flap but I have to agree with Idayra. With the price increases, the Mini is better value.
If you want this bag as a replacement of medium classic then probably yes. But if you wanna buy this first and wanna wait to buy medium classic later, then I would say do it the other way round. Medium classic is already so expensive and it’s only gonna go up in price.

If you don’t mind me telling you what I know, at least my SA at the retail store told me, since they have limited quantities when you see a bag, you let her know, if there are more people requesting the same bag, the write all names of the clients and then do the lottery;).
I'm pretty sure they told the people who were on the list earlier than me that the bags would be sold by lottery. I was pretty late to sign up, so my chances of getting it were already very low, LOL. I have a feeling they are doing the lottery method to discourage resellers.
Oh got it, so you still had to pay for the bag. I misunderstood, I thought there was some sort of contest they had and you won the bag for free LOL. Still cool that you got the bag over everyone else.

I just inspected my new black mini top handle and there are some fine lines/wrinkles in the leather on the front of my bag, towards the from base and then long the flap. Does your bag have these fine lines? It appears the leather is very thin and may be prone to fine lines/wrinkles. Congrats! Got mine from a seller on Instagram. I don't see any lines or wrinkles on mine. Maybe the bag was damaged during packaging/shipping? I think this is it for me - I am trying to be good and save for something big for my birthday. The white version is gorgeous!

Hi Daxon, where in Oz are you? Sydney’s (Castlereigh store) SS21 launched on Monday and they had this bag. I made sure to be there at opening time in case it was going to be popular and sure enough they only had one black one and I grabbed it! The Chanel store in Westfield Sydney (in the city) had a waitlist for minis so they didn’t even entertain to show me any mini bags.
