One question I have (and can't find the answer anywhere) is this: when completely folded up, what's the height of the sunglasses from the bottom of the lense to the top of the folded arm? Hi! Is the chanel mini square in silver easy to match with all your outfits?
Love the color and your review. I had been looking for the 18b mini square caviar dark beige then I started to appreciate lambkin. I got it in mini square and then medium in lamb. After having them, I decided to keep the medium and let go of the mini square. The leather in medium made in France is s super supple and delicious and the structure is solid. The mini square made in Italy is nice too but I can tell the leather is more smooth and less supple than the medium. Also I noticed frayed stiches even though it's new. Structure seems to be good, but when I touch the sides, the curved base seems to have insert in it unlike the natural curve of pure leather of my other mini square from 2019. Congrats!

I’m getting the strap of my vintage medium flap extended by leather surgeons so I can wear her cross-body. I know this could impact the value, but
I adore the size (slightly smaller than current medium) and think it will be perfect crossbody for me!

I really do like this shade, I'm not a fan of brown and tan sort of colours (I've no idea why I like LV Monogram so much! 🤣) but this is soooooooo smooth! Like a creme caramel! 🍮💕

Great review. I am enjoying mine in medium size as well. I got it from Neiman Marcus. my SA said Chanel is out of box currently 😂 hopefully I will get it’s original box soon. I am also hoping to get my hands on another dark beige medium flap from Chanel 21A collection ( this fall ) as far as I know, this one will be in caviar leather.

If you could have one mini would you choose rectangular or square ? I love the rectangular for crossbody but I do find it is a little long on the shoulder. However, I do have medium classic flap that is better for that. I was planning to wear it crossbody but it would be great to wear it both ways. I am 5’5 and and wear a dress size 6. Thank you in advance!
Oh gosh that’s a hard one. I love the shape of the square mini - it’s so cute and compact. Plus, as you said, the chain strap is a bit shorter which I like. But the rectangular mini fits a tad bit more inside so it really depends on your preference. Go for the look you love more!
Love your video! I wonder how you think of the new lambskin leather on the mini now compared to the previous minis. I’ve heard that the new lambskin is more durable now 🥰
Only time will tell but so far, I’d say the older lambskin is softer (they’re ALL soft but in comparison)... but that could be because the older ones have aged and softened further. 😉

Only watching this now. For me drawback to the medium CF is that my Chanel glasses hard case, together with my phone, don't fit. So if I want to be able to read, no phone for me 🙂

I’ve not seen this one on their website either but a few of the boutiques within the dept stores ordered them in limited quantities.
I’m considering this color in lambskin in the medium double flap. I’m planning on using it as an everyday bag and am afraid of staining or the leather being too delicate. I’ve seen this color in the caviar leather but that looks very orange compared to the lambskin. Also, I’m thinking the lambskin is lighter weight than caviar leather. Please help. The medium is so pricey and I don’t want to make a huge mistake. TIA.
I love the way the Lambskin takes on this color (vs the caviar). However I don’t know if I’d consider any Lambskin bag an “everyday bag” given that it won’t do well with bad weather or scratches and such. The Lambskin will definitely be a bit lighter than caviar so you’re right about that. As for staining, this caramel color can pick up color transfer from darker colors if you’re not careful so that would be something to consider as well. Hope this helps!
So helpful. Sadly, not what I was hoping regarding the bag, but thank you for your advice. I didn’t want to drop that kind of money on a “special occasion” bag in the medium that needs to be more of a workhorse.

I don’t know about trends but I’ve always been a huge fan of camel and caramel shades so this is a color I’ve wanted for a long time. 😊

You save a lot of bags for your daughter, I have a daughter too but I have a suspicious, the new generation are going to be very environmental friendly, more vegan approach and more minimal in life style and less wasteful in terms of shopping 🙂
I love that! I hope so. I’m trying to buy high quality items that will last vs fast fashion that turns over quickly and winds up in the landfill. My mom immigrated to the US in her 20s and brought very little with her. I wish she had some nostalgic pieces to hand down to me. I would’ve loved it. I think this is what comes to mind when I save items for my own daughter. 😊
