Great job explaining the putting, this will certainly help me be more consistent in lining up my putt. I can’t wait to practice these and try it in a round of golf.
I've watched a couple videos to try and improve my putting but this is by far the best one I've seen. My putting is easily the weakest point of my game yet it is one of if not the most important part. Gonna use these tips in the future and hopefully I can shave off some strokes from my scores. Very helpful video for some folks. Never seen a method of putting so analytical with regards to judging break. Other than some of your elevation calculations being off. 1/3 is a good base line. It’s different for different shot types and shots around the green such as pitches and flops. Just like I did in Links386, LinksLS, The Tiger Series, I like to create wind ratio charts for hurt, help, and lateral aiming of my woods, long irons, middle irons, short irons and wedges so you can use the green grid for a base line measurement that I can later tweak depending on if the shot is a standard shot, a shot that’s uphill and airborne less, or downhill and airborne longer. Mastering the wind and how it effects club manipulations and club manipulation in general are the most important aspects of the game. I wish this guide would of concentrated on that just a bit more. It’s was an excellent tutorial nonetheless. Very helpful for beginners. Great work.

I was going to go over more advanced aspects of the game but with the new PGA 2K21 right around the corner I am holding off to make a tutorial series for it. Hopefully with those I can touch more on wind and manipulating the wind with different clubs and shot types.

Hey I'm glad that it has helped you overall. Downhill putts are the trickiest of them for sure since there are so many more factors that go into them. This method for downhill usually works for me but I probably hit putts a lot more firm than most.
If you tend to pull the stick back to the right , then micro adjust the controller anti clockwise. If the tendency is left then rotate the controller clockwise.
Does these tips translate to the predecessor too? What's the point of moving the aim beyond the hole or closer to the golfer I don't get it? As it all depends on how much we swing the club how far the ball goes. I see no difference as how far the ball goes if I aim beyond the hole or right at the hole in distance? Or is it just for reference so you're reminded on how hard to hit the ball? Unless I'm missing something the game is not teaching in the tutorials. Again I'm playing TGC2.

I go into a practice swing, pull my club all the way back, then half it, then half it again. After you have done it enough times its just kind of comes second nature, but that is the way I learned.
What do the blue indicators on the left of the wheel mean when you hit a shot? If my shot is labeled"perfect", do I not need to worry about whether the arrow is high or low on the blue indicators?
Awesome video thanks! One part I can't get my head around to fully understand the 3,6,9. Around at @20.44 when you say to add a foot for every inch. It's 24 inches left of the hole. So if you add 24 foot to the 28ft you are already away from the hole. That would make it 52 foot. How did you get 40? Help lol! What am I missing? It's the final part I need to click to understand it. I'm almost there I think ! Thanks again. Hope you can clear that up for me sometime :)
Thanks for taking the time to watch the video. What you are referring to is elevation. The hole is 1 ft (12 inches) above where you are. For every inch of elevation either down or up you hit the putt 1 foot harder or softer. So, for the putt you are referring to, it was 28 feet to the hole but up 1 foot in elevation. So I added 12 feet to the putt and swung my club as if I was hitting a 40 ft putt. Does that make sense?

It's just a marker. Pulling back the putter gives the power. It was told that setting the marker and hitting that distance gives you a "sweet spot" for the putt but in the end it is just a marker.
I had someone else suggest this too. Once I get my new boom arm for my mic I will do it. I feel like I don't do anything special, just hold the controller, but maybe I do.

Hey, Nice on getting the game, it is a very fun and rewarding game. I usually use a different bag every tournament I am in depending on the length of the course. Practice rounds are key especially if you are looking to join the TGC Tours.

Respawn thanks I just started playing and have the swing down and I’m pretty confident it is straight enough to hit masters pretty consistent but my main problem is with putting.... even on beginner I feel like I’m having a real problem reading the break... I have no problem with the distance at all so I am consistently two putting but it would be nice to knock down some 20ft+ birdies putts on those tough par 4s
I would have to watch again but pretty sure I said it right. Uphill will take yards off your club so you have to club up to hit it. Downhill adds yards so you have to club down. Maybe I mixed it up?

In my opinion the Hippystein method (Hippystein is Scott Fulton the world number 8) is the best for putting........assign a figure between 1 and 5 for the bead speed , add these together and then click that many times left or right making adjustments for uphill/downhill.

The blue indicators are just the region of perfect. If you get in the region you don't have to worry where inside it you are, a perfect is a perfect.

How do you get your guy to hit it further
Master clubs for max distance and if you fast a downswing you get more distance as well.
