It’s been a great pleasure filming content for this channel peeps 🍻 In 2024 I’ll be dropping down to part time hours in my “employed work” to free up more time for “Ry’s Football Paradise” 😁👍🏾 …some great content coming your way & Merry Xmas! 🎅🏼
I’ve been a kit collector for most of a decade. Unless someone took the kit off your back and nitpicked every detail, you wouldn’t know the difference from the real thing. DHgate has allowed me to buy some classic kits I couldn’t pay $300 USD for. Also allows you to wear and enjoy the kit without the worry of ruining a $150 kit playing with your buddies at the local pitch.
I'd never buy off classic football shirts. Sorry but I like vintage kits and who the F wants a kit thats damn near 30 years old? Would feel like pure shite@@RysFootyParadise
DH Gate will forever get popular as kits are inflating in price every year! As a kit collector I love collecting the official retro kits for my own personal collection. Anything that comes out I like recent I simply refuse to pay £80-£100+ for a shirt and then that on top for family and friends. The quality is un matched for the recent shirts and you could not tell unless you product checked the codes.
Hi Ry, this is what the pattern on the Villa shirt represents. “The Castore Aston Villa 2023-24 home football shirt is claret and blue with a discreet pattern of soundwaves, representing the sound of fans chanting "Allez, Allez, Allez" on matchdays”. UTV!
I remember buying that England shirt at the time. The dates on it relate to the launch date and when it was going to last used. At the time parents were getting fed up of the constant change it shirts, nothing new there, but with these dates Umbro were being completely up front on how long the shirt would be around for. I gave all my England shirts, probably about 20, away to a charity shop a few years back when I decided to have a clear out. Then a few years after the shirt market exploded. I probably gave away over £1.5k worth in shirts
Crazy the prices of shirts from back in the day but I suppose the whole collectables market has exploded - I made a bit of my Pokémon stuff a couple years ago… people love to collect… I collect Corinthian figures but they’re generally inexpensive still
@@RysFootyParadise I've a few of those Corinthian figures too. One thing I noticed in the background was what looked like a box of tissues from France 98. I remember buying a box and it collapsing almost straight away. Amazed to see it still in one piece.
Made that mistake myself, got rid of dozens from the 90s & 00s. Only regret was keeping the 2004 shirt & getting rid of the 2002 home (the 04 is reversible). I might sell a few I have as they must have some value to someone.
I remember having that England shirt as a kid brought it in for show and tell and had to put in my bag and by the end of the day someone nicked it 😢 might have to get it if DH gate. Great video mate 👍
Recently got the United third shirt after watching your review recently. Great content and hopefully you’ll make it to Dean Court aka the vitality stadium soon for a tour! 🍒⚽️👏🏼
Thanks mate, yea deffo on the list of places to visit! Was planning on holding Bournemouth & Brighton off until the warmer weather to double them up with a trip to the beach 😁🏝️
That 2002 England is a gem (as was the red "reversible" change top). I stupidly let mine go to keep my 2004 one & regret it now. I'll keep trawling for a preowned effort but Beckham is right, that was the best England shirt & Id say our best since 2000. Me? Im more into the Admiral ones or 1980s Umbro tops up to 1992.
Great Video Ry, I do agree that CFS prices are insane. I have an immaculate Man Utd Track Top, Umbro from 1992 that sells for £200 on their site. I have The 2002 Ireland shirt that has similar markings like your England shirt. I don’t think anyone can tell much difference in the fake/ real shirts.
Absolutely nothing wrong with buying a fake kit/shirt as long as its a decent copy. Literally all of my football shirts are fake but you couldn't tell unless you were an expert on the kits. Why should I pay £90 for a real one when I can get a great copy for a tenner? It still serves the exact same purpose but cheaper!
10:00 95 cantona pop collar shirt iconic 😜 Think I had that one had the grey shirt and the blue and white one 3rd kit when I was a kid. 18:20 i almost went for the 2002 shirt for euros too long sleeve beckham shirt one that he scored the last min Greece goal right, legend. I like the 1998 home shirt too but I wouldn't wanna jinx us with that.. 😆 Gone for the purple away shirt think it actually looks quite smart in the purple and gold although not very English I really like the red shirts (maybe cos United fan 😆) but most of the old England red are not that great I was looking at long sleeve version of I think 2004 red one? But on eBay they cost a fortune because of Becks 😆 maybe they're on dh gate I not seen yet I'm new to the Chinese shirt game feel like I'm gonna be like you and buy em all! 😂 So much better than the ones they had in Spain and Turkey in the 90s as a kid probably why I never looked at them online cos of how terrible the fakes were back then. Merry Christmas! Another great video….like the Villa shirt the best, although the United shirts come a close second. I must have about 30 DH gate shirts now, and ironically the only bad one was a Northern Ireland current home shirt (being from NI, it felt a bit strange ordering one from China when the real one is only about £40 anyway!)…when it arrived, the collar button was wrong (it should be white, not clear) and I don’t think whoever made it had ever seen a genuine one in the flesh….the shades of green are completely wrong. Apart from that….its great!😂
Hahaha oh no 😅 unlucky on that one mate, I reckon it’s like a 1 in 20 chance of getting something not so good - or 1 in 30 in your case which is pretty decent to be fair 🤣
The villa one is miles off it, the blue on the badge gives off lumens and on most fakes the yellow of the 8 is the thing you notice most but I can’t really tell on this one
It's a little subjective I feel like, when we talk about "fake" shirts. The manufacturing process probably isn't much different, to how they would normally do it. Plus, the fan shirts are replicas anyways and that's basically what a fake is. Well, not quite "fake", but it is a copy at least, hardly much of a difference. They look alright to me. Not sure what the discrepancies even are, but they look good.
Yeah exactly that mate… some people get funny about it - but the fact clubs are charging £110 for something that is basically the same as something off DH Gate for £13 is a no brainier for most football fans - especially as the bloody shirt changes every year 😅
@@RysFootyParadise Yeah i completely agree, I have a couple Arsenal authentics as it is. Got mine with Jesus on it when he signed, love a number 9. So it's a no brainer for me. I've got tonnes of "real" ones anyways, so kinda don't have the need to spend over £100+ anymore. Even the replicas in Sports Direct and JD are £70, proper expensove every year. Video games are the same too lol.
