Such a great interview; Tony is awesome. I was at that match when the turnbuckle broke and the top rope collapsed into the ring. Tony and Superfly handled it perfectly. It was at Babylon High School and such a great time to be a fan. Nancy Argentino used to go to those high school matches with Jimmy. The high school events were incredible, because you had the chance to talk to the wrestlers as they walked to their cars, etc. When I was a kid I thought that Nancy was Jimmy's sister.
Exactly what I thought. He was there, you know he has at least an opinion, but he dodged it well. I worked the indies as a ref from '95 - 2000 and I heard about it several times and everyone had an opinion. When it all started coming out again about 10 years ago, I knew exactly what it was all about.
Tony came from the old school when people minded their own business. It’s got nothing to do with him and he doesn’t want any part of it. That’s his prerogative
