this is such a classic game. I grew up playing this game, and I'm super used to the clunky controls. And there's cheat codes...naming peeps John Wardley and David Braben does magical things. I hope RT gives this game a second chance because there's some truly hilarious shenanigans you can pull in it.
Yea i remember myself building ridiculous coasters but i also had zoo tycoon which seems similar to coaster tycoon wild. But i feel like he just couldnt get used to interface heavy controls. Alot of it seems like click icons in box to build coaster instead of drag it out. Like old Sims
I still think it's funny that, in his desperation for food, RT didn't even notice he'd grabbed fish food for $5 when he had $3. He failed on multiple levels!
The arcade game gives me serious My Summer Car vibes. The graphic, the setting of the game, the general vibe, the survival elements, various mechanics (like odd jobs) and the news broadcast after you die (I know it's a newspaper in MSC but the setting is more rural)
Kinda sad he gave up on it so early, it’s such a simple straightforward game to play, i hope he goes back n gives it another chance, the arcade game tho is def intersting
