A fan could become noisy if it is broken, or could stop spinning all together. If you need a new blower motor, watch this video to learn how to install one in your 2005-15 Toyota Tacoma.

    Thanks again. I always call a local Toyota Dealership to see how badly people get ripped off. They want $185 for the blower mtr ( I got mine off eBay for $35 ). The dealership wants 2 hours labor $250 buck !!! Almost $400 to do the job !!! People have no idea how badly they are getting screwed over

    Fabulous clear well lit video. A good piece of advice is always put your heating system on recycle before turning the vehicle off this will close the door and prevent mice from getting in this is their access point.

    Hey. Thank you so much for the video! I was able to get mine changed out with no major issues. I didn't have a 7/32 socket but a 6mm worked just as well. Thanks again!

    Thanks! I replaced my blower fan in my 09 base 4cyl, and it took 20 minutes. I will say that it appears that the motor I pulled was not the original! These seem to be a common issue on Tacomas for some reason.

    Thank you. Mine had a ticking noise in it. A couple leaves and a pine needle. Put a new one in anyway. Kept the old one. Thank you for your video. Think I paid $29 for the blower mtr on eBay. Again, thank you. I would tell people to pull the old one first, it might just be trash making the noise

    How about a good look at the tab releases so I will know where to put my screwdriver. Your tabs are well worn and mine are original and very stiff. Aldi there is a better release for the white cable guide. You broke yours.

    That's a lot of debris. Did it not have a cabin air filter installed?

    • @TheCoon1975
      @TheCoon1975 2 роки тому +1

      Even if you have the filter installed it just collects all the leaves and crap on top of the filter, then when you try to pull out the filter to change it all that stuff falls down into the blower so you'll have to pull out anyway.

    I have seen hundreds of fixes for a fan that only runs on high (replace resistor) mine is dead at all settings. Pounding on the selector knob worked a few times but I think it is now fully dead. Any suggestions?

    So you say nothing about the quality of the product you’re not going to let it run and see if it’s noisy or not
