Follow this easy step by step guide to assembling the DIY Astronaut Lamp -
1. Carefully glue the plastic tube perpendicular to the plate with the help of a glue gun
2. Wrap the LED around the tube in a spiral (from top to bottom)
3. With the glue gun, carefully stick the LED string around the plate (Avoid touching the hot glue)
4. Make sure you end up with a battery on the edge for easy access later on
5. Check if the battery works properly
6. Now, add cotton to the plate and cover up the whole surface
7. Stick the base of the cotton to the plate but leave the upper side soft for that smoke effect
8. Glue the Astro & the rocket on the tube and continue sticking cotton to the tube
9. Try to mimic the shape of a rocket blasting off the earth as much as possible
10. Voila! You’ve done it.
11. All that is left to do is turn on the light and check out your masterpiece
