I will be having viewer meetups at the Half Century of Progress show Thurs, Fri, and Sat 10am-12pm at the entertainment tent, #8 in the show brochure (the big tent with all the chairs in it, across from the food court)
I wished I could bring my sidekick, Molly (she's in the profile), but I'm afraid of her suffering from the heat. But I'll be there. I'm hoping that your book arrives tomorrow, that you may sign it for me. Stay safe, STAY HYDRATED .
I don't think either of us slept well at our Vrbo apartment, but my wife and I will be there. Hopefully everyone stays safe today. Excessive heat warning from the National Weather Service!
Pete, I know several videos ago your talked a little about wondering if you were making an impact, or words to that effect. I, of course, can't speak for everyone but I can tell you that whenever I am feeling down, or had and a problem at work, or just lost general faith in humanity, that I have come and watched one of your videos. I can feel my blood pressure lower, and the corners of my smile start to bend. Your videos and persona restore my faith in humanity. Thank you for simply being you and for sharing with us all.
I'm surprised Hilarie doesn't wear some kind of (light) ripstop, long-sleeve shirt while grabbing those turkeys. It might prevent "war wounds." Even down here in Texas, when I go out to work the yard (just a couple of acres), I put on long sleeves and long pants. EDIT: also, I'm almost completely through your old episodes and I really love your channel.
You, dear Pete, are just like the shepherds of Israel. You get out in front and lead because your dear "COME ON, COWS!" resonates in their hearts for they KNOW you're their provider and have their best interests at heart!!!👨🌾💙👨🌾💙 I never miss an episode and have been watching now for years!!! God's love and blessings to you and your dear family!!!!!👨👩👧👦✝️😇
Pete , what you said about the feed for the animals and quality is a direct correlation to our health !!! The old saying " You are what you eat " ! Thank You Pete ! GOD BLESS !!!
Hey Pete hey Hillary! I'm not surprised of all your viewers ! Anyone that isn't watching is missing out! We love your family and every single thing with the tractors ....implements .... animals...crops...and farm work...farmers market ...food ...and personal life that you share with us ....Pete you have an amazing and beautiful girl to share your life with ...she's lovely and a trooper ! Turkey queen is only one of her worthy accomplishments to work by your side ! God bless you Hil ! God bless y'all ! Travel mercies for you Pete...Henry and Grace to Illinois ... 😊
I'll watch you on my breaks from work and it just means to calmness to me watching your videos. Again, thank you so much for your hard work and your dedication to UA-cam videos. Thank you for bringing this into your life. I appreciate. Hillary and your family with the support of them. Pete, it makes America great.
Hi Pete and Hilarie. Every time I see you two standing together at the beginning of a video I keep expecting you to whip out your straw hats, suspenders and pitch forks and perform a classic opening monologue for Hee Haw. Thanks for sharing Pete, always enjoy your videos.
Pete. Your channel grows simply because of who you two are and your life . Your life is what most see as a true Reflection of simple farm life . Everyone wants to be happy all while enjoying there work. Watching you two is like taking medicine the helps with stress. The medicine works. Keep making videos . We all love them.
Happy Sunday, Pete & Hilarie! I apologize for all the times I misspelled your name, Hilarie! 🙄 It's always a joy to watch you both, & the kids, of course. It's wonderful to know your channel is growing so well. It goes to show that there are still great people in the world who love the pure goodness in life...we NEED more of that! 🤗
Good evening and thank you very much for your videos God bless you both and your families for the videos. I'm a Small Town country boy in Killeen Texas it brings tears to my eyes to see this kind of program thank you very much good luck and God bless
Pete! You are welcome! 500,000 will be only the beginning for your channels popularity. You said some months ago you will continue to keep it simple and that is a winning formula! I have said it before. I look so forward to your next episode!! Many thanks!!
Great video! I love when you put the little turkeys (or chicks) on pasture.....freedom in a new world! Love the chores, fencing, moving the cattle,,,,, all the animals are personable! Pete & Hilarie take good care of them~! As Always thank you for sharing~~
I gotta say, Hilarie is quite a woman! She didn't even flinch when that snake came out of that hole in the trailer tongue. I am not afraid of snakes so long as I can see them. But I don't like to be surprised by one. Love your new line of Nebraska manufactured mechandise. I'll be sure to check that out.
The Turkey Whisperer should do a whole video on how to raise turkeys. I've heard they're hard to raise. Always a treat to see a new video from you two. God bless you both, and safe travels.
First year raising turkeys, the differences from chickens has been an annoyance as well as joyous laughter at the antics! Thank you for your helpful insight too!
Pete I want to just thank you for making me smile or even giggle or laugh sometimes at your jokes. I definitely appreciate your sense of humor.❣️❣️ I don’t know how you could lose such a big bowl as Titus. He is magnificent to look at and excellent confirmation.!!!!(as is Titus!!!! They are truly easily match. In my opinion. No no no I think kudos to you. Pete has to be stated because I don’t know very many people who actually have two or more Bulls in with their cows at the same time, together in the same pin. We had cattle on our farm all my life & I know we never did that no matter what breed of cattle my Dad had on the farm!!!! I would just like to say to you, Pete and Hillary, that you may just have a few acres, but you have excellent quality of animals on your farm. It doesn’t matter whether it’s chickens, turkeys, pigs or cattle, they are all in prime condition for selling or butchering❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️♥️ and I know that’s a tribute to your hard work and wisdom about how to rotate your animals on the grasses as well as the type of grass you raise and also, the feed you give them, etc. you should be very proud of the hard work you do on your “ just a few acres”❣️❣️
Weather seems to be cooperating with pasture growth Pete. Field you just cut is really jumping. 2 Things; people who have never been the primary caretaker of farm animals are really missing out on the bond you form with them. Just to see you or (especially with cows) hear your distinct voice, they realize it's time to petition there wants and complaints to the one they expect to resolve them. Second, I sometimes wonder if you just leave that bush so the "experts" can tell you how to fix that too! Safe travels this week my friend! Murfreesboro TN
Hay pete nice to see you and your wife working together once agin turkeys look very good you are definitely right your wife Hillary is a pro at raising them all your animals look great and that is because of the hard work you do to properly take care and raise them thank you for sharing pete blessings
I never met you, nor will meet you in future, sitting in India and watching your vlogs it gives me immense pleasure. My best is interaction with cow's, pigs and hens. Thanks
I'm always amazed at what you're able to do with the relatively small space that you have. You utilize every bit of it you produce quality merchandise... and you love doing it. All the best stuff to you and your family❤
Seeing your channel grow is such a testament to the joy you bring to us, thank you for your time and effort it is much appreciated in these crazy times we live in. On a side note I truly wish you shipped your product, I would be first in line to order!
I used to love rearing turkeys and they were such charismatic birds. Never eaten it since. I had to catch kill and pluck too . only problem I ever had was getting young poults to start eating.

I have been a subscriber to the channel for quite some time and enjoy the content regardless of the topic, keep up the good work! I wish I could be there to meet you all in person.
I wish I could be there but family and work comes first. So happy for your channel that has become so successful. Hope and pray that continues. Love you all. Jay.
Thanks Pete for the information on what to feed cows, pigs, etc. Exspeacly if you are going to sell it to make money. Your income. If you don't do things the right way. You will lose money and there goes your living. So I agree with you on what all you said. If you do right you gain. If you don't you loss. And it's not good for business !!!! So again thanks !!! GOD BLESS all you farmers!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Again, I am so happy to have come across your channel. Your content is wholesome and has taught me a lot about caring for animals. It’s just nice to see you and Hillary working together to make such a nice farm. Thanks for what you do Pete.
When you folks make such great knowledgeable videos how could we not watch them, love your channel n educating us, as you stated good feed makes great healthy animals !! I myself drive 40 minutes away to buy fresh feed for my cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, n grandchildren’s ducks n they all are healthy n happy. !! My Beef is great too, I could sale 10 a yr if I could raise that many !! Keep up the great job !!!
Love the new shirts. My brother and sister were born in Rantoul Illinois. My father was in the Air Force stationed there, or near there. Hopefully the weather is agreeable and your family has a good time.
Congrats on your viewership... So cool. I remember when you first showed up in my you tube suggested watch list... close to your start. I loved what I was seeing and went back to watch all the previous videos. My grandpa and his family farmed in Lansing Michigan, Ingham County.... dairy (Kahres Dairy.. pronounced : cars) and crops. Lansing got big, so the farm is all gone now. Watching you brings back memories and I can imagine some of what their farm life was like. Keep up the great videos. We love them.
I always have to turn on the subtitles because I have difficulties in understanding your accent (I married a British lady). But with the subtitles I can enjoy your description of your everyday life. My favourites are the pigs.
I will be having viewer meetups at the Half Century of Progress show Thurs, Fri, and Sat 10am-12pm at the entertainment tent, #8 in the show brochure (the big tent with all the chairs in it, across from the food court)
