I love the way those socks turned out.
That is really cool! I wasn’t sure what to expect. The end result was awesome.
It turned out so well! It reminds me of space!
so cool! love the way it worked up in the socks.
Thanks so much for showing how it looks knitted up! Beautiful
Fun technique! Just when I was thinking you should show how it knits up, you showed the sock...love it!
You know one of the main things I wanted to do way back was show finished objects. It seems like you just don't see enough in the spinning and dyeing videos. Glad to see you back!
Amazing! Beautiful rich colors.
Thanks, Jan! I really ended up liking them.
Thank you for also showing how it knits up!
You are so welcome!
Awesome technique and love those socks!
Hope you try it! It looks so much more difficult than it actually was.
Hi Trish, love watching all your video/podcasts
Could watch you 24/7. Even though i only use Drop Spindles. I find you awe inspiring.
That dying & your socks are very classy.
Thanks for sharing your ideas with us.
Take care & stay safe.
Love Jen xx
England
Wow, thank you so much! That's so nice! You too! XO
@@FiberLoveDiary Hi Trish Thankyou so much for your reply.
I have a question id like to use some of my hand spun yarn to weave a pram blanket for my Our First Grandson due in July i have lap looms that are the perfect size wanted to know what to use as the warp threads.
Thankyou in anticipation.
Take care & stay safe.
Love Jen 💘 xx
@@jenniferbrighty5120 I would use a commercial yarn for warp that will coordinate, and needs to be washed the same way. Nothing too stretchy, and test it to make sure it's not too easy to snap. Hope that helps you!
Trish, I love how your mind works and how you solved the wide spot in the middle. Simple but, effective! I love how it turned out. Beautiful.
Thanks! I have so many more ideas on changing it up, but not enough time!
I was nervous that it wouldn't work but it did!! honestly in the final picture the black looks dark purple. Great dyeing video!!
I had some lighting trouble, so that might be why it looks purple. Sometimes getting the colors right is tough. I wasn't sure it would work either. It was my first try!
@@FiberLoveDiary I understand, with my videos it's the same.
So fun! Thank you for the positive content.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Such a cool technique!
Cool 😎 technique . Love ❤️ how the color pops you videos are the best the socks are awesome
Wow! I would have thought the black would have canceled out the other colors. Going to try it with the dye and wool from this month’s fiber box. Just amazing how the colors look
It turned out beautifully.
I love it too. I had a valentine colorway in mind, but I've been too busy just lately. Maybe I'll manage it in time.
How fun! Great technique.
Thank you!
What a great technique!
Glad you like it!
That is a stunning yarn!
Love this technique. That yarn turned out beautiful!
Thank you. I am pretty thrilled with it.
Fantastic! The socks are gorgeous, too. I’ll be trying this for sure. Thank you!
I have been thinking about a valentine colorway.
This is brilliant! I’m so excited to try it
Just beautiful!!
So cool! Love the process and the resulting socks! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. It worked out this time!
Thanks for sharing that technique, love how it knits up! Definitely going to try that.
Oh, good! I was hoping it might inspire someone to try!
Wow o wow o wow!!! I love how easy you make it look. Great tips. And my favorite is seeing the socks at the end! I’m inspired. I need to do this!
It is very easy. I have like three more colorways in mind, but not sure exactly how many speckled socks I actually want.
That’s so pretty! Wish you sold similar yarns on etsy!
Hopefully someday. I have a goal of getting more yarn on my Etsy in 2021, but every time I put some in my shop, it sells faster than I expect, and then I don't have any anymore!
What fun. Thankyou for showing your mental process. This is a very informative video for a ‘dip in and out of dyeing person’ like me. I’m itching to have a try!
I hope you try it!
Very cool! Loved how it turned out!
Pretty fun. I'm thinking about Valentines colorways now.
That is so cool!! I’m so glad I found your channel!🥰
I'm so glad you did too! Thank you.
THIS is glorious!
That was fascinating! Beautiful yarn.. thank you for this and all your tutorials.. I’ve just found your podcast and I’m really enjoying learning from you. Suzette
Welcome to crazytown! So glad to have you here!
Wow, that worked so well. Yummy yarns😍
Thank you!
Thank you i love this technique .turned out so good welldone 🌻
Thank you. I can't wait to try it again!
Beautiful! thank you for sharing.
Ok that is amazing! One day I want to try dying more yarns. I did a one day workshop back in November but haven’t had the courage to try it by myself
Once you get deep into it, you will wonder why you waited! There's nothing to be afraid of. Overdyeing is always a possibility!
I've been thinking about dyeing some yarn, I have 3 different dye colors and have to get my bare yarn to do! Love the way this worked out! It's really pretty! Was fun watching you, I also need to get something to help me with putting speckles on my yarn. I bought turquoise, gray pearl, and black. Thought I'd dip dye with the turquoise and pearl gray then speckle with the black. I want to want till it's warmer weather here in Tennessee. I also thought about some sun dyeing, but I'm not sure yet. Have A Blessed Day All!
That sounds really fun. I've played around with some of the speckle techniques, but not for quite a while so it was fun to get back to it.
Gorgeous ❤️
Thank you! 😊
Awesome!!! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Love that high twist!
Me too. I bought three bags of it from a destash and it's lovely to knit with.
Stunning
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful yarn
Thank you!
Holy cow, that's really cool! 🤩
It really made me want to try a whole bunch more. I'll get to them!
@@FiberLoveDiary you need to just open an Etsy shop!
So awesome. A very useful "do-able" kind of awesome! Thank you for the video. :)
I hope someone tries it after watching! The possibilities are endless.
That…was…cool!!!
Love it ! You're so generous with your knowledge- sent email re: hoping to purchase a warping bar ..going to check out how to reciprocate right now while I'm in such awe ! Sincerely , Thank you - Your podcasts keep my 50 something brain storming without short circuiting 😁♥️
That is so sweet! Thank you! My husband is 57 and he runs rings around my brain, so I am not sure I believe a 50 year old brain is old! I answered you yesterday, so hopefully you've seen it by now!
Amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Very cool!
I was pretty happy with it. I learned some stuff.
So cool
Awesome 🥰
Soooo nice 😊
Thank you! I guess i have to do more, because I keep thinking about new colorways I want to try.
That black cleared? OMG never seen that before but I've never used Dharma. Awesome technique, thank you for sharing.
I had some doubts quite honestly. I have found that letting the yarn stay in the water while it cools works almost all the time. Even with colors notorious for bleeding. I'm wondering if most people that dye commercially just don't have time to let the dye baths cool that way. Try it sometime!
@@FiberLoveDiary I will, I have been searching for a true black that doesn't have either purple or green tints, Dharma is on my list of must try as soon as possible.
ありがとー😆💕✨
I was a little disappointed when you didnt add in more green 🤔 but it looks beautiful 🤩
Haha. Well, I can't make everybody happy! I actually love these socks anyway. I haven't knit up the hank that has the blue yellow and green. It's still sitting on my sock yarn shelf looking pretty.
🙂👍👏😍💐🧶✌️
Where are your gloves ?
Dye is very toxic bad example
This dye is non-toxic 100%. I have done my research. It is a lung irritant when dry so i wear an N-95 mask when i mix. But thanks for looking out for safety. It's very important
