Oh how I wish I would have had one of these 30 yrs ago when I was breastfeeding. There always seemed to be so much wasted breast milk. My daughter just had a baby and this is one of the first things I told her she needed!! Thank you for sharing!! Your video was very informational, great job!!

Thank you so much for this video, I wish I could do more than like this. I’m on my third too, but was never very successful at bf. No one ever gave me as much information as you did in this video. I didn’t know about triggering let down. It’s like you have your baby and the hospital shows that bare minimum and ships you off. I was devastated by my failure. Saving this video so I don’t forget.

I'm 40 and just had my 7th child...all girls btw. My body hates pumps so I didn't know how I was going to start building up a supply. I was so engorged and my baby was having a hard time latching and staying awake for a feeding. Her pediatrician recommended The Haakaa which I've never heard of. I immediately went to Walmart to buy one. There were a few different options but I chose the bpa free one. Let me tell you, this thing is a lifesaver! LIFESAVER! I have to put the Haakaa on every feeding, place all that in a bottle and feed that to her after she nurses on the other side. I had to figure this out on my own but I see I'm not suctioning correctly because it does hurt sometimes. I had to buy another 1. My body doesn't know it's a pump. This is the first time I've ever been able to build up a stash all cuz of the haakaa and this is my 7th. This is a must! You will not be disappointed. Thank you for your tips, they were so helpful.
you are so nice for helping all mothers in need of this education and all these tips and advice. i myself am a young first time mother and have gotten the haakaa when my baby was about 1 month old. i stopped using it bc i thought it wasn’t working on me. after a few tries on it, i noticed that once my letdown stopped, i wasn’t making any milk so i gave up bc i thought it was my fault. but i’m so glad you cleared it up for me. i will try your hacks for multiple let downs and pray that they work on me. my baby is now 5 months so i’m not sure if i’ll be able to produce a supply this late, but i will do my best ❤️

The most helpful video!! I gave up on my haaka because I never got any milk with it and my nipple kept rubbing against the top. I just tried it using the second method you showed and it completely changes the “latch”!

Same here. I get the ring and feel the pain every time I use, and almost want to gave up. Couldn't find any video to explain how it should fit. I also just got mastitis because I didn't clear my clogged duct, and it's so painful.😭 (Feel like worse than giving birth) I'm going to try your tips to see it help! Don't want to stop breastfeeding my 3 weeks baby.
I started putting Lansinoh on the haaka and it still suctions the same without the pain of taking it off. It has been a life saver

Dude 10 years ago when I had clogged milk ducts and had a lactation specialist do a home visit even she didn’t have that hack up her sleeve. She just said warm compresses and nursing…. You are awesome!
This will be my third baby and I had no idea about all of the info that you shared. I feel a lot more confident now after watching this!
Such a useful video !! Notes : If it hurts don't use.. check video n how to use it.. put all nursing session milk in fridge then mix.. use a mug to hold Hakka.. helps clogged ducts put lukewarm water with epsom salt..

On baby number two and I have been using the haaka for 8 weeks now. My milk stash is so impressive because of this thing. I lost alot of milk with my first baby while breastfeeding because I wasn't capturing the milk from the unlatched breast. The haaka has been a game changer! I highly recommend getting this manual pump.❤

I bought lots of different breast pumps including electric ones for around £100 but i find such kind like silicone one, simple and easy to use and you can even control the milk flow a bit by squeezing the nipple gently through the silicone and you can see actually how the milk is squirting inside, and it does not cost a mini fortune!
thanks for tips and tricks i have a newborn and i use my haakaa all day every 3 to 4 hours and a manual pump since i feel like baby mouth is too small for my boob. but it helped catch alott of my let down. love it

THANK YOU! My milk supply has been decreasing and I was trying to find a way to have my milk out. I tried your hack, by squeezing the haaka several times faster to get LDR, it works! My milk starts flowing again after that.

Thank you so much for this video! I had given up on my haakaa because it caused me pain. The suction at the top was too strong for the top of my boob but the alternative way you showed to attach it to the boob was a game changer! It reduced the pain dramatically and i could finally use it and it gave me great results. Thank you!

I leard a heck from my neighbour, what to do with the extra milk: collect it in freezer and you can mix it in the food what the toddler will eat leather on. Especially good if lil sibling is on its way fast, so the older can't get its milk (it helps to avoid allergies even more if the child is eating thoes ingriedients together with mother milk).

I have been failing to use this Hakaa pump from the start. Nothing ever comes out. I thought you could just use it like an electric pump without the baby nursing.
