Wanted to double check with you as I didn’t see you use the 3m tape. Are you sure that’s 3 m tape and not the pre applied heat sink paste?
Mentioning this because I did mine and it came with red tape too but it’s actually heat sync paste. That’s important to keep the chip to temperature and connected to the heat sync itself.
Oh that could be it. I did not remove it. I just used the t20 to hold it in place

They look cool ASF, I just can’t fit them at home and the cost is just daft for me
All you need is 2 Jack stands and you can do this at home. It is a lot of work tho.

@@WhatsyourForte thanks for your reply’s and videos as always …fyi the dinman seat-backs in full carbon for g80 you recommended I bought sadly I got home this weekend and they fell off as a result of the glue that holds the two top clips did not hold well to carbon back with this Miami heat.. so had to send back spoke to dinman super nice he’s going to work on an alternative way to glue them instead of windshield glue …gonna get money back and wait and see was going to comment on that video you made on them

@@WhatsyourForte F90 M5 drls on the website. 540, so essentially the same headlights. Code cant be applied at checkout, says its invalid.
