America is a beautiful country....where giving $100 to people in a supermarket makes them break down and cry uncontrollably...because it's the most money they've seen in years...and, hey, now they can afford to buy some extra groceries...probably for the first time in their lives. What a great country. Uh-huh. Or, at least, it's the result of the financial policies and structures put in place by Wall Street, the Fortune 500 corporations, and the politicians they've bought in state houses and Congress...for the past three or four decades.
A woman ran a red-light in latter Jan 1997, Grand Prairie, TX. I hit her van & a 9 yr old boy was injured. My attorney wouldn't give me info other than he was disabled 💔. I had the $$ she owed me put into an escrow account so he'd have something when he became an adult. I've thought of him often wondering how he is. I wonder now if Steve Hartman could find him & let me know how he is. Don't wanna disturb him just wanna know he's ok.

Just wanted to give the kid some help when grown. I'd already survived another rear-ender, hit-n-runner leaving me disabled in '93. The system is of little to no help when you're an adult is why I gave him the $$. His parents were lying too. Crocked attorneys (ambulance chasers), insurance agents & medical people who didn't help me (thank goodness for witnesses to prove my innocence) but claimed bogus bills to absorb $$ due me in '93. It was a mess & left me homeless (which gripes me people assume all homeless people put themselves in that position. I sure didn't & many others didn't/don't either). I lost the papers and info. I specifically insisted his parents couldn't touch the $$ tho. My attorney was pro-bono & a corporate atty, not an injury one. I'd just like to know the kid, now an adult, is ok. Not interfere in his life.

Helping others is good , helping others without publicizing one’s good deeds is better. But in the end , if recognition is what it takes to motivate you to be charitable then so be it.

My aunt called one when i was younger bc i would build breast cancer monuments in Minecraft servers for my mom, and let people add their own tributes to lost family. Idk if it ever resulted in anything though.
Omg. The mudslide story is tragic. I thought it was just the garage and then they said the 2nd came and took the house..... and his wife OMG. heartbreaking
He's lying. He said he's gone 6 days home 2. Then he said he got home this morning and had to go on the road to South Carolina tonight. That not even one day. He's been home his 2 days and she was there. He said he "packed all her stuff". What stuff you have to pack if she didn't live there? She must have proved she's been there for at least 30 days, that's why the cops at his house didn't and couldn't legally make her leave. He probably got a new boo and after the last 2 days home, he didn't want her staying while he was gone, per usual. THAT'S WHERE THE BOARDING UP THE RV COMES IN. All that extra unnecessary stuttering about battery, store, landlord was because he was trying to think as he talked to appear truthful. When people give irrelevant info, they're hiding relevant info. She had no shoes on because SHE HAD BEEN "HOME" with him before he got one for the road the past two days, before he moves on with her replacement
You would be better off teaching the kids business savvy by giving the money out as loans with a reasonable interest rate - then the kids have to collect the repayments and they then get extra hugs .. unless the client doesn’t pay it back in which case the kids need to gang up and teach them a lesson ! That would be more of an education
You notice how the say unemployed won’t work there but never talk to anybody who’s enemployed. They just speak with the guy who is exploiting illegal workers.
