Thank you for that lovely reaction. ❤️ I absolutely adore this performance. I don’t know where he stores those extra lungs, but I‘m glad that we can experience the crazy runs at the end ❤️ I‘m also happy with that score. He usually takes one ear piece out, when he’s about to hit some crazy notes. Maybe to check how it sounds in the room. But he probably doesn’t hear his own voice, when he sings quietly, so they go back in. 🤷♀️
👉Dimash's deep and gentle voice... I melt away. What a wonderful song, wonderfully sung by Dimash (Russian language). Did you hold your breath? 🤣 The final run was 23 seconds with one breath. 👏👏👏 The band that Dimash accompanies at the first performance at the New Wave 2018 called A’Studio, who composed and performed “Sinful Passion” in 1998. The band is also from Kazakhstan (Dimash's homeland) and this Dimash performance has revived the song. *Original: A'STUDIO - Грешная страсть/ SInful Passion (pronounced: Greshnaya Strust) - ua-cam.com/video/CN9fHwhna_M/v-deo.html The glottal - stops is a throat singing technique called "bleating", “goat's trill” or „Trillo caprino/ little goat“ used by the indigenous peoples of the Far East. In Iran called this technique „tahrir“ In 17th-century Italy, 'trillo' referred to the so-called 'Monteverdi trill' or bleat, a tremolo-like repetition of a single pitch. Singing these trills was frowned upon. - At the end of the video, Dimash explains his breathing technique: ua-cam.com/video/STqrz1E2WV8/v-deo.html * Maryam Akhondy - ua-cam.com/video/kAWVblqDCR0/v-deo.html * Sainkho Namtchylak - ua-cam.com/video/SSqFSgPzchU/v-deo.html * Diana Ankudinova - ua-cam.com/video/EmMxOv5MtyE/v-deo.html (Thanks to all Dears who helped to complete the information)
For something a bit different I suggest Dimash vocalise(no lyrics, just him improvising to the melody) version of ”Know”(aka. “Ascolta La Voce”) from his Arnau Concert in Kiev. I’d also recommend the Kazakh folk song “Samaltau”(Tokyo Jazz Festival 2020) …Aaand he recently performed a new song called ”Fire” at his Astana concerts. There’s only fancams available for now, but I think you might appreciate it nonetheless, lol.
5:02 This part literally is how I picture the angels and Heaven sound. Then that 20+ second part without taking a breath???? He’s literally the GOAT! I have never heard anyone come close to his singing. 🤯🤯🤯👏🙌
Great reaction! Unfortunately, this isn't the best live version of this song. There is a way better version of it on Dimash's official UA-cam channel with over 26M views.
Лучшая версия!👍🏼🎉🎉🎉
