In this video, we test the Rhino's top speed with GPS. With 27" Bighorn tires, stock clutch and worn belt the 450 Rhino topped out at 35 mph going downhill.
Derrick, we'll be releasing a second top speed run after installing a new belt and shim kit in the next weeks... We'll be sure to get some out of vehicle pictures/shots, thanks for the suggestion and completely agree.
I love Yamaha, only brand I buy.....but that 450 they put in quads and Rhino's is underpowered junk. Repaired a Grizz 450 n thought it would have some power since the 660 is an animal and told the customer to get rid of it. Gutless, slow, an Embarrassment to Yamaha.
Yeah this thing is geared to be a little safer since its tall. More for trailing and work, not racing. You want fast I got a fully built 2011 yfz450r, with the proper gearing and tires will easily peak over 100mph. Deadly
Mine only goes about 30 too. Is that normal?
35 downhill? i did 34 on a flat field. does it being a special edition make a difference?
The Special Edition is just for the camo package.
@@atvdirt1 but its not camo its blue
Is that KPH or MPH?
MPH
My rhino 660 goes about 60kph is that normal
I get about 63kph on my rhino 660, if it could go any faster it would be due to the CVT primary sheave being dirty and needing grease
I didn’t know that there was a Rhino 450, i only knew the 660 / 700 ...
I was hoping for better than that .. unfortunately not
Let's see some pics please
