I had the same problem with the charge door. It was stuck when i brought it in. They ordered a new part for two months later & the part hasn't come in yet. Had the same problem with the swing gate also. Ended up selling the vehicle back when one of the battery packs had to be replaced. I ended up buying another, having some of the same issues 😞
I had a photoshoot with one right next to BNA and a guy passed me on his way to the airport, told his Uber driver to turn around, pulled up and asked if he could check it out. I of course told him to have a look then he offered to buy the thing from me right there on the spot. First and only time that's happened lol.
Sorry to hear that you are having the problems you are experiencing with your Hummer EV. I've had mine for 3 months now and I'm not having all the issues that you are. The one problem that I'm having is my rear door not opening. Working with my local dealership to have that adjusted. To me, I fun truck that I enjoy driving. I can't wait to hear what you decide or what you're driving in the next video. Best of luck!
I bought my 1st H1 and H2 in 2003 when the H2 came out. I still have them in my buildings. I just bought a 2025 3x Hummer EV Truck with 1000 HP. ( I went with Black / Gray interior.. The white gets dirty to easy - pain to keep clean) I would just buy a new one once the warranties are going out due to batteries. And I use high yield dividends to pay for it. Never use my own money on stuff. Always let others pay for your stuff. Thanks for the video. Good Luck
You got a lemon. It has been out for a long time now so these issues should have been resolved by now. 30 days in the shop, I would start the lemon return process for a new one or money back.
Every review I've seen talk about how expensive these are, but there are plenty of others that are about the same price or higher. Even a Jeep Wrangler with 392 is over $100K and some pickups like Ford Raptor is around the same price and I see these being driven everywhere. If GMC improves their customer service, software and the EV tech (including more up to date batteries), then the Hummer would be a dream EV truck/SUV to have. I also hear some people having charging issues with Level 3 chargers or the truck not wanting to drive sometimes.
Thanks James may wait a little while now on Hummer EV I had a H3 the wife loved and we been looking a the EV her Q7 is still pretty low mileage so we may wait a year or so. Tell Melissa hi for us and hope to see y’all around greenhill soon
I’m a technology guy and not so much a car guy. I never get the newest technology right away. While it’s great when it works, there are always kinks to work out. Sounds like you love the car and want it to work. But, you are pretty much the beta tester. Hope whatever you decide to do works out.
The only thing I dont like about it is the charging infrastructure sucks. Tesla is superior. Fortunately Tesla is allowing other EV's to charge at some of their superchargers and more to come. Until then I cant take it on long trips
My advice is to never buy to own something like this. Only lease. Once ur warranty is up, its game over. This vehicle will not be cheap to fix out of pocket

Charging port has a glitch or the battery was low maybe

Look into the extended warranty. I got the extended warranty for 5k and it’s 10 years with unlimited miles. Good peace of mind.

At least Melissa was wearing her UGGs. When she's wearing heels it's more difficult
Did you trade the Denali for this one?
