I'm sure this lizard also made Facebook
I think the producers of Jurassic Park took the frilled lizard as an inspiration.
Yes though it may have been the author of the book.
That is a good possibility and they probably got the spit venom element from vipers or king cobras.
@@williamjordan5554dilos in the book don't have the frills
Welp I’m about to show how much of a nerd I am, here goes: the author of the Jurassic Park novel, Michael Crichton, admitted to taking inspiration from this exact animal for the Dilophosaurus. The real Dilophosaurus was actually quite a bit bigger than the movie version, but there is no evidence that it could spit venom and none that it had the frill. These things are certainly possible with dinosaurs, but in this case, it was just an artistic choice. I really need to get a life.
Dilophosaurus is an actual thing that existed..
Even when defeated, he walked/ran away with his chin up. Haha that's cute 🤣❤🤣
When animal have 1000000 IQ and walk like human
@@genoandhotshotshortzi hate it when they are smaller than me yet can run faster than me
Nightmare animal
"If the intimidation doesn't work, they can sprint"
Lizard: I'm scary
Predator: no you're not
Lizard : *Run!!!*
First chuckle of the morning.
Imagine taking a walk outside in Australia and you suddenly get charged by a mini dinosaur that can run faster than Usain Bolt 💀
Frrr
Lmao this is the definition of a chihuahua. Act tough until they come at you. Then they fast AF
that's intelligence, there's always someone stronger than you
Probably not too intelligent when it comes to chihuahuas
They are just a holes 😂
Reptilian chihuahua
🤣
😂
i love my frilled dragon .She is so tame like a puppy. She is a little over a year old . Mine does not pop her frill out anymore . She is very chill .
Awwww I mean if it's a defense mechanism, she must feel completely secure under your care 💚
You should show her. I’m quite taken with these incredible creatures ❤❤❤❤
The way they run tho 🤣
Reminded me of jar jar binks 😂😂
Even when they're angry, they're kinda cute and it makes me wanna pet them 😂😂😂
He's Adorable 💗💗💗
tiny dino! 🤩
The producers of jurassic park used the frilled lizard as inspiration for their version of Dilophasaurus.
Or frilled raptor
I just don't understand how this YT channel doesn't have thousands & thousands of views/subscribers! There's so much great info...and SO much more educational information than someone dancing in their bathroom. 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Make it and they will come.
There’s a lot of grammar issues. If you’re going to be an educational channel, you should get the language you’re using right.
@@thefluffyeastereggerthat's my one peeve too
Grammar issues and robot narrator, aswell as many missed facts. Isn't this the lizard that can run on water?
@@Mattle_lutra Basilisks can run on water, but I've never heard of frilled lizards doing it.
Beautiful lizard ☺️
It's a very cute lizard.
I always loved these little guys
This lizard is so freakin awesome, I would like to have one, beautiful animal..my new favorite beside bearded dragon
They are amazing little critters. I dig em!
❤️💜💚
We love our frilled neck lizards
Their existence is beautiful, even inspiration for scary movie creatures🦎🦚
It is Amazing unique and Beautiful.
A dinosaur that’s still here..
Birds: am I a joke to you? 🤨
@@cellinemartinsI’m still debating whether or not dinos were birds or reptiles
@@Marshmallowfox2011 they were archosaurs, but I'm not sure if they were reptiles specifically 🤔
30 miles per hour damn that's fast.
is it possible, to have
30 miles per hour as a small lizard running
by two legs?perhaps only in very short time?
We also have it here in our country the Philippines, but in smaller version of it
This is so unfair, I thought this channel has 2 or 3 M subs and hundreds of M of views, your videos are amazing, you diserve so much more attention, I hope you blow up soon.
Beautiful Beautiful. The most favourite of mine out of all lizards.
The literal definition of all bark, no bite.
Tysm for the info. Always nice to learn different things about different animals n not categorize them as things ya know. Every animal serves a purpose. Well except pesky mosquitoes 🦟 lol n that’s an insect I know lol
Yeah they super fast, when I was a kid we used to try catching em after school. Only caught when they got cornered on the ground
I have one in my reptile collection. I've had to teach her to frill for a treat because she's so docile, she'd never threat display just to show off. She's lazy, friendly and docile. Show her a silkworm, she'll frill out for a treat, then go right back to chilling.
I had to delete my original comment because I had the wrong lizard. Steve was bit by a bearded dragon. (It was still funny though. It jumped up and got him) R.I.P Hunter.
Steve Irwin?
The lizard actually cleared the brach on the floor
Fun fact: dilophosaurus is taller than its Jurassic Park counterpart, and it’s head crests sat lower, it can’t pronate its wrist like many real life dinosaurs, and potentially had some feathering 🪶 🪶🪶🪶🪶, also, it doesn’t have a neck frill and doesn’t vomit venom.
Straight out of the imaginary dinosaurs of Jurassic park
Awesome. Love them lizards !
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤he is sooo unusual he really IS adorable. I❤him
The dilophosaur in JP didn’t have frills in real life or able to spit venom
Also known as the inspiration for gecko's in fallout new vegas.
I randomly came across a video from this channel. I found it interesting and started binge watching all other videos. I'm truly amazed by the knowledge this channel shares. You guys deserve millions of views and likes. I have subscribed and I will wait to gain more knowledge from you. Cheers to the makers of this channel! 🍻
Not all of the info shared on this channel is true
@@razorleaf Maybe but even if one video information is real we got to learn something! Let's think positive. 😉
Im just laughing and chuckling every second of this vid
"That's not evolving, thats DEvolving!"
- adrianbliss as a dinosaur
lol if he eat nuclear he will start evolving again
The way he hurdles that twig. 😁👍
They are SO handsome! I wonder if they're trained?
Wow, amazing!
That's 3 rulers long.
Cute little guys. One of my favorite lizards 😊 I love it when they run like little dinosaurs
Try owning one mine is a cheeky fker 😂
@@kirstyreid5709 Yeah, I can imagine the chaos from frantic running and scratches 😂 I wear a coat whenever dealing with splintered wood, so I would wear that while handling anything that has claws
@@kingtonsiljockey528 tbh he won’t run much he just acts grumpy hisses and frills and bites but he gen other times he wants to be handled 🤣
YES,SO DANG KOOL!!🐈🤶👍💜🎅👍🧚♀️🤸♀️🤸♂️🐧
MY FAVORITE LIZARD!
They are great golf swing practice, too!
It herdle over the branch like it wasn't even there
The Usain bolt of the animal kingdom
Even as a 6yr old I used to think they looked cute. Never knew they were tree dwellers though. I've seen them sprint - very fast indeed. But the speediest thing I saw was a goanna. It was on a tree branch absolutely still for minutes but once one of us moved it dove into the creek and zigzagged across the surface and disappeared in the tree roots of the opposite bank. It all happened in one second or two - about a 50' crossing!
Creation is always so fascinating, what a cool little guy
Evolution you mean?
@@GTTalera Both of you are correct. Creation made it. Evolution shaped it.
The frill 👹👹
The run 👻👻
They r cute!kind of scary, but yet cute.😯🥰
All us Aussies do at the sight of this vicious dinosaur is laugh our frickin asses off 😂😂😂 Aww buddy, so cute trying to look so tough lmao
Not gonna lie they look cool
Definitely one of my favorite lizards. And let's not forget how they could run on top of the water for quite a long distance because of their web feet and how fast they move
I think you're talking about basilisk lizards.
Frilled lizards can’t run on water lol, you’re thinking of basilisk lizards
Where I live, we have Horned lizards. They spew blood from their eyes or something when they're spooked.
i love them!
Theyre SUPER feisty and will bite or slap with their tails when cornered
I used to call them lion lizards, due to their frills reminding me of a lion’s mane.
I swear if I see that ill would literally adopt it
The way he run through
The frilled lizard is so awesome and unique. Love viewing reels showing them running. Just learned they live most of their time in trees since they are largely filmed on the ground. Would be nice to see a reel of one in the trees. Thanks for this post. Will share with my grandsons who love lizards.
You're getting big 😃👏
Keep up the great work !
Why does that lizard looks like running a marathon
Also known as the cutest, coolest and most facinating little creature ;D
How sweet when it tries to defend itself from danger 🥰🥰🥰🥰
When the neck frill doesn’t work: *evolves into human*
Whoop whoop whoop whoop!!!
We not gonna talk about how he jump over the log with no problems?
Frilled dragon: wait until I split acid (pretend splitting). Any minute now…
Love these guys they're one of my favorite lizards.
Thank you for showing us the inspiration for the Jurassic Park monster 🎥🎞🍿
I think if I saw a 38inch one of these on full display I'd run 30 mph in the opposite direction.
when I heard "Australia" the novelty effect subsided a bit
How Frilled Dragon feel when they unfold the neck frill: 🐲
What people see: 😾 *that's so cute*
Awesome creature! Very interesting video. Well done.
Aren't they beautiful
When bluffing fails , chin up and runs like the wind . Haha.
One was running at my friend all hissy one time.
She fucking kicked it, and sent it flying.
OH NO 😭😂
I bet that neck frill has something to do with safety being arboreal. Because, if they fall they may furl out the neck sails catching air therefore slowing there airspeed making their touchdown survivable.
Fun fact: Chickens can do the same too, but with feathers
Bro decided he wanted to be a human 💀
OMG, his little parkour vault over the stick was hilarious..... 🤣🤣
how pretty
Arboreal? You mean Adorable!
I didn't know all this about them
imagine how much faster they would run if they would just swing their arms a Lil bit....
I always wanted one of these
I need one at every door. Greatest security system ever.
Child:Mom can we get dilophosaurus
Mom:we have dilophosaurus at home
Dilophosaurus at home:
Remember folks dilophosaurus didn't have a frill nor could it spit venom
Ahhh yes, I'm so intimidated.. Their actually cuter when they get mad.. Lol
I like the way they gobble up insects. Their mouths look like a baby bird when it’s being fed. Birds are their more evolved cousins.
Amazing 🙋♀️
In the Jurassic Park book, the Dilophosaurus doesn't have a frill. But in the movies it's explained that when extracting Dilophosaurus DNA, They filled the gaps with Frilled Neck Lizard DNA, thus why they have the frill
man just looking up the air
It's cute
